"This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. "

We had a room and dedicated bathroom (locked for our use but in the wider apartment). The brother & sister who manage the property are in touch with technology making them very helpful for what's going on in Anuradhapura & helping with things to do in the area. The garden is so beautiful making the property feel tropical & peaceful in a very busy city. The Ivy Lake is very central to the Old Town, the lake, bus station & the train station, perfect to be walkable to everything. The room is very convenient with a rare refrigerator, great shower & comfy bed, everything a traveller needs. There is a superb coffee shop that the youngsters have with all meals available. Well done Ivy Lake, we highly recommend you to all visitors to Anuradhapura."
