Safe family hotel

Traveling around Germany by car and wanted a place with safe parking in safe area. This was perfect. Apartment 1 was perfect for three adults to spread out and enjoy. Unfortunately didn’t have time for pool or sauna but everything was clean and never needed to contact management for a problem. Courtyard area would make this hotel perfect for family with children as the area was enclosed and room for little ones to run around Will stay here again when visiting friends in Kulmbach

Auch das kleine Standardzimmer war vom Platzangebot ausreichend, für eine Person allemal. Nette, freundliche Einrichtung. Die Rezeption ist nur zeitweise besetzt, aber telefonisch erreichbar. Das Hotel liegt 15 min zu Fuß von der Innenstadt entfernt, wer am Abend ein Restaurant sucht, sollte das einkalkulieren (online verfügbar: Restaurantempfehlungen). Super- und Drogeriemärkte liegen näher, im Industriegebiet nebenan. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle ums Eck, aber die Abfahrten sind eher punktuell. Ideal liegt das Hotel für einen Ausflug zum Mainzusammenfluß: Bis Melkendorf fahren und den Rest laufen. (Achtung bei der Rückfahrt: Einige Linien sind Bedarfsbusse und Fahrten müssen eine Stunde vorher angemeldet werden.) Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis beim Frühstück, WLAN tadellos. Das Hotel liegt ein bisschen zurückgesetzt, aber an einer Ringstraße.

Alles in allem solide

Sehr gutes Frühstück, schön neu renovierte Zimmer ( abgesehen vom Bad). Mein Fahrrad konnte ich wunderbar in einer extra Garage abstellen. Das Hotel liegt an einer großen Kreuzung, zusammen mit den älteren Fenstern sorgte das werktags für sehr schlechten Schlaf ab etwa 7.

Für Geschäftsreise Ok...

Von außen macht das Hotel einen recht guten Eindruck. Die Zimmer und vor allem die Bäder sind jedoch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und sind auf jeden Fall renovierungsbedürftig. Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht schlecht - man ist gleich in der Stadt. Auch die Freundlichkeit wird hier groß geschrieben. Zum Restaurant kann ich leider keine Angaben machen.
