Staff were friendly and very professional. My room was clean and very useable, if not exactly spacious. The public areas were very comfortable and available when I wanted to use them. The hotel bar and restaurant were quite good. The location was superb for my needs; just a few minutes' walk from the Canal St subway stop and lots of delis/restaurants around if you want to get out.

One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at in NYC. Rooms don't have a ton of drawers or space for clothes, but other than that I would certainly stay here again (and again). Great spot to have a base in SoHo.

"Kumi is in a poorer part of Uganda and the hotel reflects that. It tries hard and was much improved from my last visit. Hot water consistently and lovely staff."
