"The service was amazing! They were so helpful and really went above and beyond in helping us with some issues regarding our trip plans. We were late in getting in and missed our reservation for the Ninja Temple. They called and helped us rebook it. We also needed to ship some luggage and they also called the hotel we were shipping it to, to make sure they could hold on to it until our check in date. They also helped us make sure a package we needed got delivered to us before we left the hotel by calling the delivery company for us. The person who helped us Matsui"

"A very interesting experience. No shoes allowed at all inside the hotel. It’s amusing to see all the guests in slippers or socks including in the elevators and in the lobby. There is also the habit of people wandering in their kimonos which are provided by the hotel in order to access the onsens. The onsen was excellent and very high end. The restaurants in the area were a bit limited. No cute little streets and alleys full of restaurants . We were very close to interesting sites to visit. The only complaint is when using the toilet the hall light was movement triggered and would come full on. It could be a problem for light sleepers. "

"Hotel in a good location just a stroll to Kanazawa castle and gardens. Buses almost at the entrance to get everywhere else, but can also walk to Omicho Market and the Higashi Chaya district. Nice sized room for Japan and complimentary wine and sake every afternoon a lovely offer. Staff were helpful in booking a restaurant for us. "

"Nice friendly staff and clean hotel. People are sincerely nice a very apologetic when things go south. Best Daiwa I have ever stayed. Would be nice to have the place be identified from the building as there are 2 Daiwa in close proximity and they say people always makes mistake to go to. "
