Beautiful location!
We had a wonderful two weeks staying at The Little Stone Villa.. Nick & Linda are wonderful hosts...great communication, very helpful with directions & nothing was too much trouble... After a busy few days soaking up Athens & the Parthenon, Little Stone Villa provided a peaceful, relaxing, away from it all break..the pool was fantastic (make sure you meet Robert the pool cleaner! ;) and we spent most of our time there... The area is stunningly beautiful which you could appreciate from up on the Terrace or down by the pool...the villa provides a view across the valley to 'Boobie' mountains & right down to the amazing blue sea! The villa is located on the side of the hill so an SUV or 4x4 is very handy especially with 4 adults & luggage...Linda will meet you & show you the way down to the villa... Locally you have Enoria, Kymi & Platana...Kymi was a bit tricky to get out of once in there as there are lots of one way systems but Linda's advice is to park up just outside and walk in...there is a good supermarket there and also another large one on the road out of Kymi going North....however there are smaller mini-markets, a butcher & green-grocers down in Platana, which is only 10 minutes in the car...there is also a good Pharmacy on the left as you enter Platana, the Pharmacist spoke good English & was very friendly & helpful....Nick's advice was to stop at Lidl in Aliveri & stock up there with all the larger items..lots of restaurants along the front but our favourite seafood place was with Yianni at the Koutelou Tavern behind Glykos Pastries just to your left as you enter the village...the food was the best I've ever tasted..I had Prawns with spaghetti, simple but the flavours were outstanding! We went back the next night & chose our freshly caught fish.... We also went in Glykos Pastries for brunch one day and served by the very friendly Maria who spoke good English...nice spot to gaze over the blue sea while having a drink or snack.... Lots of choice & Linda is happy to recommend places.... We did venture up to the Moni Sotiros where visitors are allowed up to 12:30. The nuns allowed us to walk around the Monastary & opened a door at the top where you can walk out on to the rooftop & be greeted with a stunning view! You aren't allowed in the church but a nice few hours out & about... It is very quiet so you won't find lots of tourist shops or lively night-life...Little Stone Villa is a peaceful spot to un-wind & soak up Greece..perfect!

Lovely property in idyllic location
We were obviously unsure if we'd make it to Greece this year but were so very glad we did. After a difficult time, what we all really needed was a recharge and this holiday certainly delivered. Linda was very reassuring and put our mind at ease. The house was lovely and clean, in a very peaceful location with an amazing view. The pool and the pool area was our favourite way to spend our days, followed by dinner in one of the many restaurants in nearby Platana and Kymi port. If you want a holiday that is Greek Greece (we didn't encounter one Brit the whole time, bliss!) this is the place for you. We never ventured far (the nearby beaches are lovely), but didn't want to or need to and had a large choice of books to read. We'd love to come back soon!

Blissful home from home stay in idyllic peaceful location
What can we say....it was fabulous. Linda is an excellent host who really cares about your visit and this is reflected in the property and facilities offered. The location is so peaceful and the view spectacular.....we found it difficult to tear ourselves away to sightsee on some days. Both the terrace and pool have excellent views and our week flew by. We would whole heartedly recommend this villa. Claire and Andy Lewis

The perfect place to read-charge batteries. Stunning views and lovely, we’ll-equipped house.
Really prompt and useful information. The little things had been thought of, no need to bring beach towels, or buy dishwasher tabs - all provided. Stunning location, the ‘real Greece’. Great choice for somewhere a little different with no pressure to do anything but relax.

Relaxing and authentic Greek holiday
Little Stone Villa is the perfect location (on the outskirts of the town of Enoria) for a tranquil and relaxing holiday on the island of Evia. The views from the terrace and the pool are stunning. The cosy villa is so well stocked it feels like 'home from home'. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa was ideal space for our family of 4 (children 15 and 12). This was our first visit to Greece and we experienced an authentic Greek experience. The island has few non-Greek tourists. We visited the Sunday Konistres market (for fruit and vegetables, local honey) and spent many days by the pool and at the local beaches 5 to 10 drive minutes away (Kimi, Platana, Soutsini-sheltered and clear waters, perfect for snorkelling). We also ventured to Kalamos beach (30min away) with stunning turquoise waters and white sands. Enoria village is a 5 min walk up the hill from the villa offering stunning panoramic views. We watched the sun rise over the Aegean horizon from Enoria church. There are local supermarkets (Kimi town), bakeries (delicious pastries/breads), greengrocers serving smoothies and ice cream (Platana). The tavernas in local Kimi beach and Platana, Figouli (15 min walk) offer good traditional Greek cuisine or seafood. We also drove up 'Scraggy mountain' to visit the church (visible to the top right of photo 3) with breathtaking views along the coast and went hiking in the Vromonera forests with our informative tour guide Nico. All in all we had a wonderful stay on this beautiful Greek island. Thank-you to our generous host Linda for all your hospitality.

A very special place - book if you have a chance
At least once a year we rent a villa in Greece and we have been lucky to stay at some very special places. That being said, the stone cottage in Enoria far exceeded any expectations we had. We like staying in rural areas with lots of nature around and from the looks of it, the villa seemed to match our taste. We usually like to research the area before booking, there was however very little information to find on the internet about Evia, Kimi or Enoria. So we just went with our gut feeling and booked anyways. The booking process was very professional and Nick was quick to react to any query we had. On the day of arrival we were welcomed by Linda, the brave woman responsible for creating this little piece of paradise. The welcome was warm and we felt home immediately. The view from the terrace and pool are extraordinary and the house is cozy, very clean and equipped with anything you may need. We spent 14 days at this magical place, enjoying every moment of it. There are plenty of restaurants at a short driving distance, but most nights we enjoyed cooking in the cottage kitchen. The house, garden and pool are done wonderfully, with lots of love by Linda’s family. Linda was the most amazing host you can imagine – I can guarantee that you will agree if you get a chance to stay here. The area around is beautiful, ranging from spectacular mountains, to glorious beaches and cute towns. There are not many other foreign tourists around and for us that was something very special. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at the special place if you have the chance. If you are like us and enjoy authentic rural areas, cute little towns (like Kimi) and generally the unexplored, we are sure you will enjoy your time here as well. If you have the chance, book 2 weeks at a minimum – the villa and garden are so mesmerizing, that it is hard to motivate yourself to venture out. If you do however, you are in for some real treats.

Beautiful view, charming villa
We had the most relaxing and wonderful week at the stone villa. The view is unbelievable and the outdoor area is where we spent most of our time. The inside of the house is charming and well stocked. Linda was very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit!

Beautiful villa
We had a fabulous holiday in the beautiful Little Stone villa. Stunning views of the mountains, coastline and valley. Wonderful pool and the villa has everything you need. We were well looked after by Linda, the owner, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Off the beaten track, so an appropriate car is a must. We thoroughly recommend this villa.

A Hidden Gem
Little Stone Villa is a hidden gem in a wonderful part of Greece. The villa itself nestles on a south facing slope of a spectacular and surprisingly lush green valley with breathtaking views of hill-top villages, rugged mountain scenery, and, apparently almost within reach, the inviting azure sea. You could (we did) happily spend hours just drinking in the vista from the very comfortable terrace with dining table and chairs. Below the house and terrace, reached by a short flight of steps, is the pool area that is at once secluded and private, but also offers a slightly different and very spectacular angle on the view. The pool, while not deep, is a good size. The loungers are comfortable and the two large shades ample. You could (we did) easily spend all day here by the pool. But there are excellent beaches, walks and other attractions nearby too. The house is well laid out with comfortable furnishings and an especially well equipped kitchen. Linda, the lovely owner, met us at the ferry terminal and guided us to the house - we'd never have found it otherwise. She is a font of knowledge about the local area and a warm and welcoming host. If you want a taste of Greece that's a little off the beaten track, yet easy to get to, and with pretty much all you could want within pretty easy reach - you'll love this place! Our week here was wonderful and will linger in the memory. We'd love to come back...

HIDDEN TREASURE
We (myself, wife and two grown-up daughters) stayed at Little Stone Cottage for a week in April 2018. We were blessed with wonderful weather which enhanced the spectacular views from the property. The property is maintained and equipped to a very high standard and the locality was very peaceful and, while we were there, 'non-touristy'. We didn't see another British tourist all week! We thoroughly recommend guided walks from Nico, a delightful chap with in depth knowledge of local nature. We will return (frequently) The Camburn family
