Beautiful, comfortable, peaceful property. Central, with a 7-11 with great selection around the corner and a subway minutes away. Wish I could’ve stayed longer!

Very clean and modern with a vibe throughout. Great lobby area, original with comfy sofas, seats for board games, record player, fresh bread all day and drinks too. Great selection of board games to sit and play too. Very helpful staff and great amenities. The room was beautiful, clean and modern, cosy and luxurious. Amazing shower. One of the best hotels and completely underrated!!

This hotel is GREAT. It was by far the best hotel of our entire Japan trip, and we stayed at other very good hotels. The room is spacious, clean, and has a fantastic shower. All amenities you could need are available. The lobby area was so nice to hang out in during times that we needed to rest our feet from the 30,000 step days.

The hotel has excellent location it is in a walking shopping and restaurant area. Room is very small however they have big rooms but I didn’t pay attention when I booked the room.staff is very polite and respectful. I recommend this hotel.

Awesome spot in Kyoto

Excellent location in short walking distance to two metro lines. Comfortable beds, largest shower/bath of any hotel we stayed at in Japan, comfortable and spacious lobby, and free use of bicycles (if you get there early enough in the morning). Far and away our favorite hotel of our trip!

This property is excellent value for money. There are complimentary drinks and breads available all day, free bikes on a first come first serve basis and the staff is wonderful. The rooms are a good size and key attractions can be reached by walking and/or public transport.

Walkable to nijo castle and nishiki market. Room was clean and bright. Toiletries are located at ground floor - you’d have to take them yourself. The only thing we didn’t like was the dryer/washing machine, as there was only one of each available, and the filters were dirty.

Hotel was nice and clean, staff were friendly, laundry easy to figure out. Only issue is the 24hr snack bar is lacking, it’s nice it’s 24hrs but it doesn’t change for breakfast. So bread for breakfast only, it’d be nice if they had eggs, fruit or something else so you can actually have breakfast. They also watched us struggle our 3 luggage’s and backpacks upstairs.. odd that they don’t help there, but not a big deal. Everything else was standard and as always staff very friendly

Wow , I can really only say such positive things about this hotel. It is really close to a train station, about a 3 minute walk and is down a smaller side street so it was really quiet. The staff at the hotel are amazing, so friendly and so helpful. They recommended an amazing small sushi place (sushizen, highly recommend to go but go earlier in the day as their last order is 6:30) and were always available if we had questions. The lounge was a really nice addition. Orange juice, iced coffee, the breads and pastries (even olive oil and balsamic vinegar) were always available. Also as a smoker, I appreciated that although they didn’t have a smoking room / lounge like other hotels, they provided a small ashtray for you to use so you could smoke off to the side of the hotel. If you’re a pokemon and Nintendo fan, both of those stores are about a 10-15 min walk from the hotel, and the streets they are on have covers over the sidewalk so if it’s raining you won’t get wet. There is also a Kura sushi nearby which was a cool experience, but go early. After a long day of walking the full body shower was a nice addition. And using the tub to soak your tired feet in cold water was also nice. The room we stayed in was really big compared to the other hotels we stayed in. It had the toilet in a separate room from the sink and shower area. This room also had a small closet which we haven’t seen either which was a great addition to hang up our clothes in. Mattress was very firm so be aware.

Room was spacious, had the superior twin. They have a washer/dryer on property however is only one machine. The 24-hour lobby service is excellent! Hotel is close to metro station.
