Great house in the countryside

Wonderful old house with a great modern kitchen. Amazing garden / grounds and pool. Located in quiet countryside. We were a family group with 8 year old children and grandparents. It was very hot this August..over 36C every day. The house was still very comfortable. We all loved the pool. Bakers and supermarkets were close by. A great stay !!

We just returned from an unique stay!

An unforgettable vacation at this peaceful location in the middle of nature! The warm welcome was very friendly with Fabrice & Isabella and we felt directly"home". The way all is arranged and taking care off shows a genuine care for what guests in vacation mood are looking for. The horses and the lovely cat were very friendly, our children were delighted... The house is located close to a number of historic towns with many excellent restaurants and the shopping and culture of Aix-en-Provence is only some 40 minutes drive away. Highly recommendable if you are looking for a family moment in a natural and peaceful environment with privacy for all. Melvin

Beyond Amazing!

From the beginning to the end of our stay we kept finding new reasons to want to come back. The super comfy and fun family game room, the sunsets lounging in the pool, the beautiful and friendly house cat and horse, the exceptionally creative decor, the wonderful rain showers and most of all the welcoming smiles of Isabella and Fabrice! The little things like the welcome rose and the bath and pool towels so nicely laid out added to the wonderful experience. The local restaurant and market guides and advice were spot on, we loved them all. Sleeping with the windows open enjoying the fresh country breeze was exceptional and made it difficult to get out of bed, how nice is that! We can’t say enough good things about this special sanctuary, we will certainly return. Almost forgot, the pool was awesome, thanks so much for making it a centerpiece of our afternoons and evenings!!!! Heartfelt thanks to our wonderful hosts! Have a great summer!

Wonderful stay in late June early July 2019

We had the most wonderful stay at the home of Fabrice and Isabella this summer. The house was beautifully and tastefully decorated with a superb kitchen. We were a family group of 7 adults from two generations, that became a group of 9 with arrival of additional family members. There are 4 lovely bedrooms, with one bedroom capable of being bedded out "dormitory" style. I would suggest that the house is best suited for 4 couples, each with their own en-suite bathroom. It was glorious to sit around the large outdoor table, overlooking an absolutely fabulous pool whilst enjoying a meal comprising of local food and wines. We experienced some amazingly hot weather (up to 43C on one day) but were more than satisfied with the house cooling system and of course the fabulous pool. The local town, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, has good selection of shops and restaurants and is a 5 or 10 minute drive away. It could also be reached via a 30-40 minute walk or a 15 minute bicycle ride - heatwave permitting! Fabrice and Isabella were extremely helpful and I cannot recommend their house too highly.

Mas de caractère, spacieux, dans un cadre de vie exceptionnel

L'espace de vie et le confort aussi bien intérieur qu'extérieur avec une piscine superbe et la présence de chevaux permettent un dépaysement très reposant et vivant tout à la fois : chacun a pu y trouver sa place et s'y sentir bien.

Holiday in a heatwave

Séjour entre ami rendu possible par cette maison magnifique! La maison est incroyable avec des pièces toute plus magnifiques les unes que les autres. La déco est soignée ce qui confère beaucoup de cachet à la maison. La cuisine est un lieu de vie organisé autour d’un grand plan de travail très convivial. La propriété est très grande ce qui permet de ce couper d’un monde, parfait pour se reposer. Les hôtes sont de plus très accueillant et accessibles.

Beautiful setting in the country

Our group of 4 middle aged couples stayed here for 5 nights. The property is beautiful, very tranquil. The combination of the old and new makes it a very unique place to stay. The kitchen is so well equipped we shopped at the market and prepared lovely evening meals. The dining room table is large enough for 12 people! The living area is spacious and quite comfortable for evening get togethers. All bedrooms have your own bathroom and beds are very comfortable. An added bonus are the beautiful resident horses that you can visit daily. All in all we would highly recommend this property if staying in Provence. Excellent location for day trips to vacluse. Arles, Avignon and gordes. The village nearest ,l”isle sur la sorgue ,has the best markets we visited during our stay in France!

Une réunion de famille dans un cadre magique !

Magnifique Mas dans lequel nous nous sommes réunis en famille pour mes 40 ans. Ce lieu fut idéal pour les grands et les petits. Nous avons apprécié les différents volumes intérieurs qui permettaient à chacun d'être indépendants et les espaces extérieurs où nous nous retrouvions avec joie. Charme et confort pour des vacances idylliques!

Dix jours de rêve en famille dans un cadre enchanteur... En pleine nature, au calme absolu, avec chevaux, moutons et écureuils... et à seulement 5 minutes de l'Isle Sur La Sorgue, le rêve! Nous étions 6 adultes et 4 adolescents à jouir d'une superbe propriété (dont les photographies sont en dessous de la réalité ) dans un cadre non moins superbe avec une très grande piscine, un terrain de boules, espace ping-pong et trampoline géant .Nous avons eu la chance d'assister au travail du maréchal ferrant pour la plus grande joie des enfants et des adultes. L'équipement de la maison et la qualité des prestations sont exceptionnels: wifi partout intérieur/extérieur, literie ultra confort, cuisine quasi professionnelle, sonos dans toutes les pièces, billard, double salon, piano.... Un grand merci à Isabelle & Fabrice pour leur accueil amical et leurs conseils de virées touristiques......que nous n'avons que partiellement exploré car personne ne voulait bouger de cette maison géniale. Nous ne pouvons que recommander Le Mas des Grands Galops à l'Isle Sur La Sorgue pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis et c'est sûr, notre grande réunion de famille se fera ici!

Highly recommended holiday rental!!

A wonderful house (extremely good looking and stylish, functional, practical, very well equipped - bedroom are spacious; each with their own bathroom) with a wonderful garden. The owner is extremely accommodating and pleasant, and Carole who takes care of the house is always available for insider advice on activities!" We were a family group of 6 adults, 30-40 year olds, 2 kids 12 years old and a baby. We loved that each bedroom had a bathroom and private toilets -there's even yet another toilet downstairs! The pool is well heated and that was a big plus in May -lovely sunny days and cherrytrees in flower, a really wonderful landscape... The garden has several terraces for sitting, for breakfast or lunch and to get some rest, We were spoilt for choice! Wifi is everywhere inside and outside. The village Isle Sur La Sorgue is great! More than 300 Antiquarian and each Sunday the brocante in all the City. You could just stay here and not need to drive anywhere. At just 5 minutes by bicycle from house -wonderful grocer, butcher and great bakery.... Farmers' Markets in Velleron or Coustellet are wonderful and just a few minutes drive away! There's also a very good supermarket in this town too. Bicycles are available at home and there are great walks on quiet roads and pathways. It's also a good centre for exploring the Luberon -we didn't bother going far out of the home -one trip to Avignon and one to Gigondas for wine... and the lovely village of Saumane de Vaucluse. The roses in the garden were a delight We spent quite a bit of time in the garden and around the pool. A very happy family time and we hope to come back very very soon....

Très bel endroit

Tout est réuni pour passer des vacances reposantes. On a l'impression d'arriver dans sa maison de famille... La maison est très très agréable à vivre. Visites locales, marchés des environs et surtout farniente autour de la piscine. Un havre de paix et un accueil chaleureux et sympathique des propriétaires..

À recommander ABSOLUMENT. Une maison magnifique , décorée avec beaucoup de goût, très bien équipée, un décor superbe et calme. Literie parfaite nous avons dormis comme des bébés. Beautiful, large home in a great location!

This house is a beautifully renovated old farm house located outside of town. Very private, romantic and surrounded by a lovely landscape. It was a perfect place for our family reunion. The pool is fantastic. Plenty to do and see in the immediate area. Terrific restaurants! The kitchen is perfect for cooking large meals. Nice place to eat both outside and in. Comfortable living room areas too! My only suggestion would be to prepare for the flies. We bought fly paper and that seemed to take care of the situation. The owners are very nice and welcomed us to their home. We would come again if the opportunity presented. Thank you for a memorable time in France!

Vacances excellentes, maison de rêve

Pour la 2ème année consécutive, nous avons choisi le Mas des Grands Galops. Nous sommes 4 couples et chaque année, nous passons une semaine de vacances ensemble. L'année dernière, nous avIons découvert cette superbe maison de vacances. Tout de suite, nous avIons été conquis par le charme et l'ambiance de ce mas. Nous n'avions qu'un seul regret, à la fin du séjour, le quitter. Aussi, cette année, d'un commun accord, nous avons repris le chemin de l'Isle sur la Sorgue. L'accueil de Isabelle et Fabrice est vraiment très sympathique. On s'y sent tout de suite bien. L'espace de la maison décorée avec beaucoup de soin, la terrasse ombragée, ainsi que les extérieurs (jardin, piscine) créent une ambiance idéale pour des vacances reposantes. La région est très agréable, la localisation de la maison permet d'aller à pied pour découvrir l'Isle s/ Sorgue qui est une petite ville charmante. Une fois de plus, nos vacances étaient superbes et nous avons déjà prévenu Isabelle et Fabrice de notre intention de revenir l'année prochaine !

Séjour absolument parfait !

Notre séjour au Mas des grands galops a été tout simplement parfait. La maison est très grande et est décorée avec beaucoup de goût et avec des objets et éléments de très haute qualité. C'est une maison très facile à vivre au milieu d'un très grand jardin au calme tout en restant proche des commerces. La piscine fantastique, table de ping-pong et trampoline permettent à tous de s'amuser. Nous avons passé un séjour en tous points parfait. Nous allons très certainement revenir ! Christine&Bertrand

Mas magnifique, séjour magique

Nous avons choisi Le Mas des Grands Galops pour la réception de notre mariage et nous n'étions pas décus. Le Mas est très impressionant avec des finitions très haut de gamme partout. Nous avons étés très bien accueillis par Fabrice et Isabella et gardons un très beau souvenir de notre séjour.

Sublime...

Aucune mauvaise surprise, la maison est de celle où on se sent chez soi. A la fois familiale et luxueuse, elle nous a permis de nous retrouver en famille sans nous gêner vu l'espace intérieur et extérieur. Un très agréable séjour que nous n'oublierons pas.

Large property set in delightful countryside with lots to see and do.

The property is an old Mas which has been thoroughly modernised while retaining its character. It is well appointed, with a pool and lots of outside space. It is well situated to make the most of the many sights and places worth visiting in the area. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us good recommendations of places to eat! We had a wonderful holiday and highly recommend the Mas aux grands galops.

Wonderful.

Everything is wonderful about this house, the house itself, the surroundings and the owners, who did everything for us. The house is fantastically equipped and every tiny details in place. We were two families together and had a lovely week in this gorgeous house. We will definitely come back.

Notre Maison Préférée

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances. La maison magnifique correspond en tout point à la description. Mentions particulières pour la cuisine et le grand salon (espace télé). Nous étions à 4 couples et nous avons profité de l'espace de la maison sans jamais nous gêner. L'espace autour de la maison est également très agréable. Les propriétaires Isabelle et Fabrice nous ont très bien accueillis. Isabelle nous a bien expliqué toutes les fonctionnalités de la maison, nous mettant très à l'aise. Merci aussi à Carole pour sa disponibilité et son sourire. Maintenant, un seul souhait : Revenir l'année prochaine !
