"This property was amazing! The staff is so wonderful and made our stay extra special. We enjoyed the hot springs and all of the tours at the property. Bryan made any and ALL requests so easy, and Reuben took us on a hike and horse back riding trip and they were perfect. We felt a sense of exploration and relaxation all at times. The town of chachaugua is only a short distance away and had a fantastic little soda with pizza and empanadas, and a ice cream shop that had $1 ice cream… I cannot say enough about how special this hotel and staff is. We 100% would return and recommend. "
"Our stay at Finca Luna Nueva Lodge was simply unforgettable. The place is stunning — surrounded by lush nature, peaceful energy, and vibrant life everywhere you look. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and nourishing, and the warm hospitality made us feel truly welcomed from the very first moment. And the yoga shala is simply magic!
One of the highlights of our trip was the night tour with Dani in the forest — such a fascinating and enriching experience! She guided us through the local fauna with incredible passion and deep knowledge, showing us frogs, insects, and nocturnal life in such a respectful and exciting way. She even took beautiful photos with her phone to share with all of us — such a thoughtful touch!
We also highly recommend treating yourself to a massage with Alexandra — she’s incredibly skilled and intuitive. One of the best massages we’ve ever had!

"We loved our stay at Bungalows Las Iguanas. The bungalows was really clean and well furnished with tv, wifi and plenty of towels. The pool and jaccuszzi were great. The owners were really nice and made sure everything was to our liking. They even showed us a sloth was was passing by for a couple of days. The breakfast was great and made fresh to order. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to this area"
"We had an amazing time during our stay in La Fortuna! Danny was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Our original property that we booked, the pool was not ready, so we were moved to a different property. It definitely felt like an upgrade though! The property and was gorgeous and brand new! Each room was its own casita and the layout was really cool! We all loved it so much!! Excellent experience! "

"Great place to stay, kitchen was stocked nicely! The house was also very clean! We enjoyed the beautiful pool. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood. It is a little further from La Fortuna so just be aware that you will need to drive about 15-20 minutes into town and back. We didn’t mind the drive at all. It’s surrounded by many cool things to do and see! The outdoor furniture wasn’t super comfy but we still very much enjoyed the outdoor area. The beds weren’t super comfy either (maybe with a little better pillows.) Loved the pond with all the birds and iguanas. The peacock was also fun to watch and listen to. "

"We stayed in the house for 5 days and it was wonderful. The check in is a little difficult with the caretaker’s house and the house itself not very easy to locate with Waze or google. You’ll get close, but good luck. It would be helpful to update the instructions. Anyway, once you overcome that small feat, the house is wonderful. Well stocked for cooking and comfortable lounging . Having the resort next door is amazing! Great food and bar and hot tubs are 2 minutes away. Then you get to retreat to your very private house. It’s really a great set up. La fortuna activities are about a 20 minute drive. .Very easy. Really great home base for a la fortuna vacation. "
