"Fabulous! Luxurious hotel immaculately clean and with the most wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Great location right in the village. Lovely car park and grounds. The ambience of the place is really lovely. Plenty of nice walks around. Near to the river and lots of great restaurants. The beds are so comfortable. The breakfast was perfect. "On the second night a thunderstorm brought part of the roof down. We had to move two of our beds into the kitchen and the falling in roof was covered outside by a plastic sheet. The dishwasher in the upper building did not work so we took the plates up and down to the dishwasher next to the pool. The property is lovely but could do with some renovations. "

"A wonderful holiday in superb accommodation. Although the weather was not very good (we were unable to use the pool) we nevertheless had a great time visiting towns in the area. There was plenty of room for our 15 month year old baby to crawl around safely. Nearby Montignac was a gem with plenty of restaurants and a very useful Spar supermarket. Would thoroughly recommend this property to a group of up to 8 people. "

"What a beautiful property and huge pool house and pool. Large pool with fully equipped kitchen and huge bathroom. Plenty of room around the pool to get the sun all day and a very large covered area for bbqs etc.. lovely well appointed home with everything you’ll need. Fully equipped eat in kitchen, lounge, loo and upstairs are three good size bedrooms, two bathrooms and separate loo. On the upper level was a further en suite bedroom. Only 3k to the nearest town of Montignac which is lovely. The river Vezere flows through the centre of the town, plenty of restaurants and some lovely shops. Very pretty town and worth a visit. The town of Terrasson is approx 8k away and also worth a visit. Beautiful town, lots of restaurants and shops. Good supermarkets on the outskirts. Huge thanks to Isobelle who was very helpful and made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend this property."

"The house in Montignac is lovely, cool even in the hot weather. The pool is a great addition and good to have the pool toys etc for the little ones. Our two year old was very appreciative of the puzzles, books and lego in the house. Communication with the owner was great. The location is ideal, you can explore the town easily and its not far from many other attractions. Highly recommended. many other "

"The property was gorgeous, clean and the pool was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday. Just a couple of points to note. The beds were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Firm beds are not for us. The listing said hot tub. We hadn’t seen one in the pictures so guessed it was a mis-print, but to confirm there is no hot-tub despite it being listed. The WiFi did not work at all. We called the host who was very good and came straight away but could not fix it. It did not get fixed the entire week we were there. You are in the countryside in an old house so mobile data signal was patchy to non-existent within the property. This can be frustrating when planning days out (or when you have teenagers.) We had a lovely holiday and visited some gorgeous locations in the region. The property was private and clean."
