"Here’s a structured review based on your feedback:
---
**Hotel Review**
**Overall Experience:**
I recently stayed at this hotel during the Easter holiday, and my experience was not as expected.
**Breakfast:**
- Breakfast was okay, but the dining area was very busy.
**Check-In Experience:**
- The reception and security staff were not very helpful upon arrival. Had to carry all our luggages ourself.
Food and Drink Prices:
- Prices for food and drinks were excessively high for the quality offered.
Pool Area:
- The pool was consistently busy, and they often ran out of towels.
Noise Levels:
- There was loud live Hard Rock music every night until midnight, making it difficult for my kids to sleep.
Theme Awareness:
- I was not aware that the hotel had a strong focus on Hard Rock music, which was not suitable for our family.
Kids Club:
My kids only spend few hours out of 10 days stay?
Conclusion:
Overall, I won’t be returning to this hotel.

"The apartment had everything we needed. The pool area is lovely and its all kept clean. We were on the first floor, which meant we had private loungers which was great. Unfortunately you need the windows open for some air, and it was really quite noisy. We also got a note through our door telling us to be quiet, when we were really quiet (couple no kids) and had only been there a few hours!

"This was our second stay at the hotel and we would definitely recommend it! The staff are all fantastic, friendly and so helpful from the reception desk to the bars and the entertainment team work so hard, the kids all adore them (our child had talked about them since our last visit and was so happy that they remembered her!) Rooms are a really good size, clean and well equipped.
The only area for improvement is the buffet. The food they serve is really good, however, we often found it labelled incorrectly and it would be amazing if more dairy free options were available as there were days when there was very little choice and never any suitable desserts. Other than that, everything is fantastic!"
"Hotellet havde en rigtig god beliggenhed, men rengøringen af værelset var mangelfuld. Der blev kun skiftet håndklæder, mens badeværelset ikke blev gjort ordentligt rent. Derudover fungerede Wi-Fi ikke."
"Nice stay nice staff breakfast was fine pool area was very nice
Our shower needs renewing apartment was fine could do with a bit of modernisation
Have stayed there in the past and would return in the future "
"A pleasant place, with friendly staff and good-quality food, that is let down by the truly desperate physical condition of some of the rooms. The grouting in the bathroom of the room we were initially given was black and ugly, and there were cracks where the sealant was coming away from the bath. We rejected it as unacceptable and were shown two further rooms that were far from pristine but not nearly as bad. How this place can be rated as five stars beats me. There are signs of underinvestment in maintenance all around the place, with crumbling and cracked paving etc. The state of the bathroom in the room we were allocated would disgrace a one-star hotel in most countries I’ve visited. Does the Tenerife tourism board not care about its reputation as a luxury destination? When was the last time it inspected Barcelo?
There are plenty of facilities (seven swimming pools for example) and activities, with a stage and nightly discos and shows, if you like that kind of Butlins-type atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t go back - this looks to me like a place that has been on a path of slow decline for some time. In the end, the (mostly) good service can’t make up for the lack of spending to keep the property in a condition that justifies its star rating.

"I recently stayed at Dreams Jardín with my family and overall had a great experience. The hotel is nicely located, and the breakfast spread is excellent with a wide variety of fresh fruits and juice options.
The pool area is perfect for both kids and relaxing in the sun, although you do need to reserve sunbeds quite early in the day. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful, which really enhanced our stay.
A special highlight was the sunset bar—definitely not to be missed. The selection of drinks and cocktails is impressive, and the bartenders are always smiling and provide amazing service.
We also really appreciated the hotel’s thoughtful service on our last day. Even after checking out, we had a late evening flight, and the hotel provided us with a changing room to shower and freshen up. This allowed us to fully enjoy our final day, including water sports and a beach excursion, which was a great courtesy.
The only thing that held me back from giving a full 5-star rating was the room. Occasionally, there was a strange smell—similar to chlorine or a chemical odour—coming through the air conditioning vents. We had to open the balcony door a few times to clear it."
