Great little spot

Newly renovated, owner is very nice. Rooms are clean and welcoming. Pool isn’t large but its all you need, I would absolutely recommend this place.

This was a very convenient location within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions in la fortuna. The waterfall and volcano are only a short drive away. The owner is kind and a good communicator.

Great location in a comfortable apartment

Great little apartment in a gated area located in a residential area just a few minutes' walk from the Main Street with a wide choice of restaurants and shops so very convenient. Communication with host was excellent and check-in was smooth. Bed was comfortable and the bedding/towels were of high quality. Strongly recommend as a good base for exploring the area.

Great apartment

What a great place to stay. Apartment was newly renovated and clean and comfortable. Easy walk to downtown. Nice having gated parking. Host was great and very accesable as he didn't live too far away. Nice pool for a cool off dip.

Nice, clean and modern. Great location in town. Owner very responsive. There was a family celebrating the holiday that was a little loud and the parking tight but overall excellent choice. Felt safe and clean. Thanks!

It's a new property built by the owner during covid. Nice apartment and kitchen, common room a little small. Building still under construction for new suites being built. Owner very helpful. Nice location, off main road so quiet, but near the centre of La Fortuna.

Perfect Apartment-Style Hideout!

We had a wonderful stay at Apartamentos La Casona. Everything worked perfectly and you can tell it is loved and cared for. The pool is adorable and the perfect temperature. The communication with the owner is stellar! We had many changes to our itinerary because of flight issues and he was extremely accommodating and kind. The best part is there is parking and it's walking distance to downtown. We plan on returning to La Fortuna and will definitely stay here again!

Would give 5 stars if the kitchen had a microwave and the living room had air conditioning. Also, the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were awful. Otherwise, this was a very clean, spacious, economical, and convenient home base for exploring the attractions around La Fortuna. The owner was responsive and helpful in accommodating an early check-in.

John was awesome!! Some renovations were in progress but the workers were courteous, quiet and clean. The apartment was very clean. The neighbours dogs woke us one night and did bark quite a bit during the day/evening as well

I love the brand new building and all the hanging plants around the balcony was pretty. The kitchen had all ample utensils for cooking. The bathroom was beautifully put together. Not 1 bug got in the whole week I was there which for me made for a good nights sleep. There are 2 dogs next door that bark but its not too bad. Honestly I came to realize that I like those dogs barking some to keep bad people away even though the property is gated. I always bring ear puddy on my vacations anyway I find its way better then ear plug keeps all noise out. John the owner is very attentive with communication through whatsapp. The housekeeper was sweet, attentive but not intrusive she was absolutely worth leaving a tip I should have left more. Good A/C in bedroom that cools the whole place and a fan in the livingroom/kitchen area it was enough to keep me cool. It literally felt like home away from home so yes I would stay again.

Hands down, you can't beat the location. It's located in a traditional neighborhood just one block off the main strip. Its very safe and an easy walk to everything. The apartments are very modern and clean, and César was very quick to respond when we had questions about activities, transportation, etc.

Great apartment in a great location. Communication from management was great. Good directions as the place could be hard to find. The apartment is clean, but it is Costa Rica so do not leave food out on the counters as the ants are pretty bad.

The apartment was perfect, very clean, very spacious the price was excellent and the owner/staff were great. Only complaint the neighbours dog is a but if a barker and the nightclub is loud but we drowned out most with the fan.

New and clean apartment

This apartment is relatively new, well-appointed with cookware Etc. The apartment was clean and the manager communicated very well, and very quickly. Anything that we needed was provided. We can recommend this place to other travelers. The manager also made helpful recommendations for Hot Springs.
