This hotel is a little gem. The staff is so kind, and welcoming! The rooms are spacious and clean. My kids were able to milk a cow, play in multiple hot springs, and enjoy a free breakfast that they loved. The grounds are so well kept, and the views of the volcano are amazing.

We stayed two nights. Location was good for things we did in La Fortuna area. The property was very nice and well maintained. The farm animals were a great addition and fun to visit with. The hot spring pools were fantastic and the main reason we booked here. The restaurant was good, we ate all meals there. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

My children enjoyed the farm area. We had an opportunity to milk a cow, we collected some eggs and my children rode a horse. We saw a sloth and many beautiful birds. The hot springs are awesome!

This charming family-run property was truly the highlight of our trip! Each day began with a delicious full breakfast and ended with a relaxing soak in the hot springs. Wandering the grounds, we enjoyed visiting the farm animals and spotting native wildlife in their element. We had a wonderful stay at El Silencio. It is very clean, everyone was very kind and helpful. The service was wonderful and so was the food. We loved the farm and visiting all the animals every day. The hot springs private pools were perfect and we enjoyed privacy and quiet time. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again.

It was nice getting our breath taken away every morning, looking at the view and early sunrise. The hot springs were also wonderful, and providing us surprises on the way to them. Such as animals and other creatures crossing our path. Having access to the farm animals also was great with the opportunities that were also waiting for us there, although time constraints led us not able to try them all out. The biggest con had to be the staff, as they were simply to kind-hearted and sweet. Thank you for wonderful memories

This hotel was great from the moment we were greeted by the very friendly staff! The individual villas were clean, quiet, and spacious. The grounds and farm operated by the hotel were pristine...you can even milk cows and collect eggs. The breakfast was great. During our visit in early May, the hot springs on the property were also quiet and surprisingly refreshing in spite of the heat and humidity. Great stay!

We loved Hotel Del Silencio. Eliot was an amazing person who helped us accommodate tours, breakfast, etc. The place is really quiet, clean, and the most amazing thing is that in the AM you can visit the cows, horses, birds chickens etc. This place is amazing for the little ones so they can enjoy nature. The termals were a little hot but amazing too.
