Suwa Villa Arenal is a lovely small lodge right in town. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Rooms are small but elegant. Very pleasant common area, nice amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at Suwa Villa. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was thoughtfully designed and more spacious than it looks in the photographs. We would absolutely stay there again.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The best part was how thoughtful and attentive the host, Rahul, was—he truly goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. He greeted us personally and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for from the start. He was also incredibly responsive to WhatsApp messages, which made communication easy and stress-free. I especially appreciated the small touches that made a big difference, like the umbrellas, extra linens, and—most importantly—access to a washer and dryer. We visited during the rainy season and didn’t realize how muddy things would get, or how difficult it would be to dry clothes in such humid weather. Having laundry facilities on-site made a huge difference in keeping us comfortable throughout the trip. The open-air community kitchen was also a great bonus. While we ate out every evening, it was so convenient to store and reheat leftovers for breakfast the next day—much better than wasting food. Both the kitchen and laundry room were thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. We would definitely come back again. Be sure to check out the excursions listed in the binder—their pricing is very reasonable!

Had a great stay here. Location is amazing, you’re walking distance from many restaurants and the area is safe. The person who checked us in was so nice and always checked in to make sure we were doing well during our stay. Best part is you can do laundry so you don’t come back home with wet/ dirty clothes.

An oasis in the middle of La Fortuna! Once you walk through the gate you feel like you're in a safe, secluded place. Everything was super clean and quiet. Having laundry machines was a huge bonus. Easy check-in. Great dining options nearby (walkable).

Definitely staying here again!

This hotel is wonderful and will definitely stay here again when I come back to La Fortuna. It is in a great location, close to tour pickup places and the main park, but far enough away from the main streets to be quiet. The room was clean and I appreciated that the laundry facilities were free to use.

A really lovely hotel located in La Fortuna and within easy walking distance to the central square and surrounding bars and restaurants. Parking outside was useful as we had a car to access all the nearby attractions. Room itself was clean, modern and comfortable and there are shared kitchen facilities available too. Great communication. Would recommend this hotel.

We had flight cancellation and we arrived one day later. Raul was in touch with us all the time. He scheduled and rescheduled our tours more than once. He was amazing. Suwa is close to the best restaurants and commerce. They offer free coffee and water in the room and laundry. You also can use the full equipped kitchen. I deeply recommend Suwa Village Arenal
As soon as you arrive, you are welcomed with coconut water!

We had an absolutely stunning stay at this villa it truly exudes a calming, zen vibe from the moment you arrive. The space is impeccably clean, and the attention to detail is remarkable. We were warmly greeted with refreshing little coconuts filled with water, which was such a thoughtful and unique touch. The garden is beautiful and earthy, creating a peaceful oasis that adds to the overall serenity of the place. Plus, with great restaurants just a short walk away, everything you need is within easy reach. Honestly, it felt like a little piece of heaven. Highly recommend!
