I had an exceptional stay at this apartment. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the modern decor created a cozy atmosphere. The amenities provided exceeded my expectations, and the host's attention to detail was evident throughout. Conveniently located with easy access to local attractions, I highly recommend this apartment for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Mr Shan is super hospitable and his friend Giovanni is a real gem, who helps a lot with transfers. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience of being your guest.

Perfecte verblijf met mooie uitzicht en luxe

Inchecken verliep wat moeizaam omdat je exacte aankomsttijd moest doorgeven en wij te laat waren ivm files en verdwalen. Het duurde daarom 25-30min voordat eigenaar kwam om ons de sleutels te geven. Voor de rest: PERFECT!

5 stars all around! Friendly and helpful host who take care of everything from arrival to departure in a nice and effective way. The room is large, nicely decorated and has everything needed. Great location with Le Morne, Black River and super market all close. Quiet with a nice garden that makes breakfast a joy. Secure parking. Cleaning was excellent too. Top quality and can't wait to be back!

The apartment was excellent in any aspects. I would recommend to any one who does not prefer luxury hotels and tourists resort. It is in a great and quiet location surraunded by nice local people.

It is a very nice appartment in La Gaulette in the near of the Le Morne Beach. The host is very courteous and helpful. He tell you all about the island and will give you informations what you can do and what is the best way. You can contact him in all questions direct via whatsapp which very nice.

A beautiful and comfortable accommodation

This facility is simply an oasis in the middle of nowhere in particular. The room was spacious, comfortable and the entire property felt secure and protected. The staff could not have been kinder and I appreciate the extra effort the cook made to prepare a special meal just for me when I advised I could not eat the meal they had planned for guests the night I stayed.

Would definitely recommend

We were upgraded to the first floor suite which was lovely and finished to a very high standard. The suite was very spacious and beautifully appointed with everything we needed for our stay (self catering). Shain went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, providing tips on where to go, what to see, where to eat, etc. There is a large supermarket quite close by and a few nice places to eat. I would recommend having your own transport if staying here. We went to the Seven Colours of Earth, Chamarel Waterfalls, Le Morne and the Black River Gorges National Park and Shain booked us in for a swim with dolphins and island picnic which was very enjoyable and better than one we did in Australia. The apartments were easy to find, not far off the main road, but as they are situated in a quiet residential area with similar properties and there is no sign outside we weren't sure that we had the right place when we first arrived - we phoned Shain and he came to let us in. Overall it was definitely good value for money and I would stay again.

Résidence très calme, propre, spacieuse et très bien équipée. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Nous avons eu un très grand appartement à la place de celui réservé pour le même prix bien entendu. La plage est tout de même assez loin et nécessite un véhicule ou prendre le bus. Des restaurants et un centre commercial à proximité. Pas de piscine, mais est-ce vraiment nécessaire ! Vraiment à recommander.

Sehr schöne Zimmer mit einem extrem! guten Service

Hallo zusammen, ich weiß garnicht wo ich anfangen soll - es war einfach alles super! Angefangen bei den sehr modernen Zimmern, der schönen Aussicht und der relativ guten Lage (3-4 km zum eines der schönsten Strände von Mauritius), bis hin zum fänomenalen Services und Betreuung des Hausherrn (Mr. Shan), war der Urlaub einer meiner besten. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr gutherziger macht und tut wirklich ALLES für seine Gäste. Er fragt nach persönlichen Wünschen, Interessen und sorgt sich täglich um einen. Ein Beispiel: Wir wollten gerne viel von der Insel und dessen Kultur erleben, so organisierte er uns eine günstige Tour und wir hatten einen echt tollen Tag. Die Kommunikation läuft ganz entspannt über whatsapp mit ihm. Durch das vorhandene WLAN ist alles kein Problem. Ich könnte nun zum gesamten Urlaub einen 5 Sterne Feedback-Roman schreiben, wenn ich alles erzählen würde was alles so toll war. Daheer mache ich es ganz kurz: HAMMER ZIMMER, HAMMER SERVICE, HAMMER URLAUB. Kann ich jedem NUR empfehlen sich dort unterzubringen!! LG, Lio und Gaiva

Sehr gute Betreuung durch den Vermieter!!

Super schöne und saubere Ferienwohnung im Südwesten der Insel! Der Vermieter hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert- wie Autovermietung, Ausflüge und Tipps. Traumhaft schöne Strände, nette Menschen und abwechslungsreiche Ziele! Highlight der Insel waren für uns die Tamarind Wasserfälle, Hochseeangeln und mit Delphinen im Meer schwimmen.

Sauberes, gute Lage aber kein Hotel-Niveau

Das Appartment (!) kein Hotel, liegt in einem kleinen Wohngebiet. Relativ grosses Zimmer (ca 50m2) mit Küche und naturgefliestem Bad hat alles was man benötigt. Es ist kein Hotel / Luxusniveau, aber eine empfehlenswerte,günstige Alternative zu den überteuerten Hotels. Wir kamen früher an (check kn ab 14h) und es war kein Problem. Sehr netter besitzer, regelmässige Reinigung & handynummer bei Rückfragen.

Hübsche Apartmentanlage im Südwesten der Insel

Die Wohnung kann ich nur empfehlen. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wenn man Fragen hat, stand er einem immer zur Seite. Die Wohnung wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und es wurden auch jeden Tag die Handtücher gewechselt. Mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell an den nach unserem Empfinden schönsten Stränden der Insel. Die Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet. Insgesamt ist dieses Apartment sehr gut!!

Nice Accomodation near Le Morne

Shan and his familiy were very nice hosts. We stayed at the "Studio" for three nights, which was very huge. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend to stay at Montain View!

Good alternative to explore the south by car

Really good value choice if you don't want to pay for overpriced hotels. Recommended to have a car since this village is a bit out of sights although you can get to Le Morne beach by bus. Apartment is huge to feel comfortable all the time. You can also cook everything with kitchen equipment.
