"The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was very close to UCSD which was the purpose of my visit, it was for parents weekend. I will definitely stay there again when I come to visit my daughter at college."

"Staff is very friendly here and kind. The free continental breakfast had a lot of options, both hot and cold items. Parking was easy. The rooms are older and they do show wear. There was a noticeable damp smell when we walked into our room. There were signs of water damage in bathroom and kitchen areas. The blackout shades were wonderful, but you can hear people walking, talking, etc around the property. They do place a hold on a card, which was fine; however, they also placed a 2nd hold on my card for $40. I talked to the front desk and they said it'll drop off, but they didn't seem to know why the second hold was placed, which was a bit concerning. The initial hold was more than enough for parking, etc."
