Great Location

Only steps to the ocean, it’s a darling house with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms; we will definitely stay here again.

Great location

The property is in a great location. The property manager also responded very quickly to some initial concerns we had upon arrival. Overall, great stay! We'll be back.

Wonderful property for family of 5

We stayed for our daughters UCSD graduation weekend. The house was wonderful and had everything we needed for our visit so we could relax and enjoy the weekend. The location is amazing so close to the beach and restaurants close enough to walk. The house has plenty of space inside and outside to relax and visit. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We will absolutely try to stay there again.

This house was very accommodating. We had hair and make up done the morning of the wedding and the natural lighting by the patio doors was great.

President's Day Weekend

Positives: The home is in a great neighborhood in La Jolla and steps away from the beach. Small, premium grocery store, coffee shop, and cafes are all within a short walk. Home was well stocked with toiletries/towels/laundry/etc. essentials. Hosts were responsive with communications. Negatives: It was a cooler weekend, and the heat was not consistent throughout the house - the first floor was cold and second floor was a sauna. Also, there were a number smaller things that would be quick fixes that in aggregate translated into a our experience being below expectations based on the listing and pictures (examples: cracked toilet seat, rusty trash cans in bathrooms, soap scum on glass in master shower).

A decent stay property

The location was good and relatively close to points of interest. It's also easy to get around that area. The pictures on the website are apparently older, so there have been a few changes to the property. The inside of the property was relatively neat and clean, but the exterior needs work: screens are ragged, exterior needs cleaning, outdoor furniture is falling apart. The master bathroom shower is also out of commission. We rented the property specifically because it was equipped with AC. This turned out to be a waste since the AC would not work, even when the thermostat was unlocked. The property manager was apologetic, and offered to have someone come look at it, but we really didn't want our vacation disrupted in that manner. In short, I would rent from that property manager (Ocean Sands) again, but I would not rent that property.

Perfect stay steps away from the ocean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at this location. It is perfect location, close to beach, there’s a grocery store walking and some awesome food joints nearby as well (we walked for Tacos, coffee and ocean breeze). Kids were super comfy in the bunk beds. Kitchen was well stocked. We loved our stay!

La Jolla beach house

This house was super spacious, clean and lovely! The location was great and our family enjoyed our stay in La Jolla. Beautiful beach and many things to do around town!
