"We received such a warm welcome from our hosts, for which nothing was too much trouble. Matthieu is a great cook and treated us to a wonderful table d'hôte dinner as well as delicious breakfasts. Our room was very well appointed - modern, comfortable and in keeping with the country setting. Would thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay for couples and families alike"

"If you are looking for an experience, the Priory does not disappoint. The only room on the property for guests has ties to the Romans from the year 1070. The church itself is decommissioned, but continues to host concerts. Being from the United States, opportunities to be surrounded by such history do not exist. "Une nuit réservée à l'occasion du CFD, vu de l'extérieur, le lieu ne paraît vraiment pas accueillant, cela fait même un peu peur quand on vient d'arriver, l'hôte parle mal français et n'est pas tres presentable, nous ne sommes pas rassurés. Une fois quelques mots échangés et une fois rentrés dans la maison, ce n'est plus la même ambiance, l'intérieur a le charme fou d'une maison ancienne et l'hôte est très agréable. "Great village with interesting church and chateau within walking distance of hotel. Lovely courtyard at hotel. Had supper sitting outside. Limited menu but the galettes were delicious ! Room slightly cramped but comfortable. Excellent breakfast included. Great value all round!"

poor service attension

"Very poor attension to opening the breakfast times. I was to open at 7am, but didnt open until 7.45 on a Monday before our teams work. Poor selection of breakfast, no taking care of damp towels in room or the room when returning. Would assume there was cleaning to take place the days I stayed. Over payed for the price it was "

"It was a little hard to find but the welcome was excellent, the location was in beautiful country, peaceful and unspoilt yet only 2km off the road to Auch. The owner is a wonderful cook so dinner and breakfast were superb with a nice wine menu. The room and bathroom were well decorated, everything to like."

"Staff good . Bedding clean and comfortable. Air conditioning not working, mouldy shower ceiling, carpet very worn. Whole hotel needs a revamp. Breakfast buffet not great choice. Overpriced. Car parking very easy and hotel was not noisy. Would not use again unless keen to stay in Parthenay."

"We stayed at the hotel as part of a long drive back from the South West of France. The people working at the hotel were super helpful, providing an option to manage our late arrival, providing breakfast at short notice and helping with any questions we had. The family room we stayed in was large and easily accommodate two adults and two kids. "
