Casa Ocotillo

Casa Ocotillo is a wonderful place to call home for all the activities that La Ribera and Playa Colorado have to offer. It is located in the private community of Las Lomas II on the outskirts of La Ribera.

Casa Ocotillo is about an hours drive from SJD airport and makes a wonderful place to stay while you fish the world class Sea of Cortez. You can beach fish for Rooster Fish, or hit the deep sea for fresh Tuna. We can assist you and your party with private charter arraignments to the top captains in the area
for all your fishing adventures.

Our home was built to entertain while enjoying the views of the Sea of Cortez. The main house features a large open kitchen and entertaining area with a breakfast bar, gas stove and ample room to entertain. The main house also features the master suite with king bed that faces east to enjoy the best sunrises in the world. Enjoy a large master bathroom suite with plenty of storage, gorgeous tile work and rainfall shower.

Open the sliding doors in the living/dining room onto a large patio with stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. Be sure to take some time to watch a sunset from the roof top sitting area.
The Casita has 2 large rooms with queen beds. They share a large bathroom with a walk in shower.

We have a dipping pool between the main house and the Casita to relax and wind. Our swimming pool is not heated and we do have a shade cloth overhead . It has a small waterfall and a Baja bench in it. There is absolutely NO GLASS allowed in or around our pool area.

Just a 5 minute drive from the house will have you down to the vast beaches of Playa Colorado where you can enjoy everything from wind surfing, beach fishing, swimming, snorkeling or just relax on the beach. We can help arrange ATV and Quad rentals to really help you explore the local beaches!
We can help you with every aspect of your trip. If you need meals, transportation or translation services we are ready to help!

We also have a covered outdoor barbecue area with a very large charcoal grill, propane gas grill, small sink and large countertop area.
