Hotel St. Pierre is a lovely small town hotel with everything needed for my short stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpfull with arranging a taxi. It's a short walk to the train & bus station. Actually everything is within waking distance: Restaurants, shops, groceries, & entertainment. The continental breakfast was fresh. Our stay for one night was great. The hotel is very cozy, clean, calm and they already pre-heated the Sauna so we could go there Right away after our arrival. Staff also very friendly. The landscape around invites for nice walks. The only thing that didn’t really convince us was the Food about what we had high expectations (good ratings & in the guide Michelin): not well seasoned/portion size/no surprising flavors/meat not tender. We were so pleased that Hotels.com recommended this hotel/restaurant in this lovely picturesqe village that we would not have visited except for this booking. The hotel is like a Parisian 4 star; beds were wonderful, room was large, bathroom was gorgeous. We wanted to postpone our trip north and stay a second night but the hotel was full, and I know why! Go to Ornans, visit the Courbet museum and stay here!
