"Host was very responsive. We were able to drop our bags before check in so we could explore the city. There were only about 10 steps to top of apartment which was neat and clean. The air conditioning worked very well too. Easy 8 minute walk to train."

"We had a very warm welcome from Sergio, who was very friendly and helpful. The house was immaculate on arrival. Fabio was very quick to respond and help with anything we needed (he lived very close). The view from the terrace was spectacular and the pergola was brilliant as we had lots of rain while we were the there (and some sunshine). The bed was very comfortable. The location was good for driving out to other areas. If we came back to this area, we would definitely stay here again."

"During our stay in La Spezia, we did not have a rental car, which meant that for us, the walk to go downtown took about 30 minutes or more which we were not aware of. If you have a car to use, then it's a close drive! Just be aware if you are walking, it's a far walk to downtown and it's a LOT of uphill walking."
