Our experience was the resort was not ready to have guests. The heater in our room was broken and stuck on high. We couldn't turn it down or open the windows which had been painted shut. After a 14 hour drive to the resort we were exhausted and could not sleep in such a hot room. We found out the water was not drinkable and had to replace the water container in the hallway in order to get water. The next night we were moved to a different room that had no towels, no LIGHTBULBS and no hairdryer. We had to walk back and forth between rooms to have a shower. We asked for a refund on the room and all we were offered was a free meal and a free stay another time. We had booked the resort for a relaxing weekend and it was anything but. The staff were very friendly and nice but when you are charging 200$ a night you should be ready for guests.

Jason has been super accommodating and friendly, the kids loved the games room, and our cabin is quaint and peaceful on the lake.

The rooms weren’t ready when we arrived. As a matter of fact, there were no one to check us in for the whole first hour except a maintenance guy to help us out. It’s was 28 degrees cecius on that day but the heat was still on for the entire night. No one was available during the night to help! My friends and me could not get any sleep for the entire night!

We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the property adjacent to the lake. It was roomy and clean. The hosts are amazing. The condition of the cabin was not perfect but they are older cabins. The beds were very comfortable. The lobby is quite nice and the breakfast at the restaurant was good. I understand this property just recently reopened and the owners are doing a great job brining it back to its former self.

Rustic feel, just like when we where young exploring the resort and camp grounds. The compound just needs the missing attention to bring it back to some of the former glory.
