Moulin Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Beautifully appointed hotel in a marvelous setting. Friendly, helpful staff from the minute we entered until we reluctantly had to leave. Room was quaint, tidy and very clean. Restaurant was great, including the sunroom-like sitting area next to a roaring waterfall. Short walk to funky Wakefield downtown shops and restaurants. Our visit too short to utilize the on-site spa. Outdoor fire pits were great on a cool, crisp fall evening. Highly recommended."

Welcome to White Oaks, a luxury retreat nestled quietly on the Quyon River.
10/10 Excellent
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Quyon, Quebec. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how welcoming the property felt. It was the perfect place to get away from the city, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The cottage itself was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared for our arrival, and it had everything we needed for an enjoyable and stress-free stay. The space was cozy while still feeling open and comfortable, making it a great place to spend time with family or friends.Ruth clearly take a lot of pride in the cottage, and it shows in the care and attention given to the property. Our entire stay was comfortable and enjoyable from beginning to end. Thanks again!"

Cozy & Small Guest House Near Calabogie
8/10 Good
"The bunkie was a perfect space for me, my husband, and our med and lg dogs. There is a beautiful view of the Ottawa River from the bedroom. The host has thought of almost anything you could need, from a guide of trails and attractions in the area, to a tie out on the deck for a dog, a variety of snacks for any type of palate, spices and oils for you to cook with, even instant oats and coffee or tea for the morning if you'd like. It felt very homey and warm, and we could imagine how warm it would be in the winter with the cute fireplace. I dropped one star because the one night we stayed here, the fire stick/t.v. didn't work for us (though we didn't reach out for help) and the bed could use a 2" or 3" foam topper, we had difficulty sleeping. Overall however, we were very impressed with this property."
Modern 4-season Lakefront Chalet with New Hot Tub & 4 Bedrooms: 1 hr from Ottawa
10/10 Excellent
"Having four bedrooms was great - it gave everyone their own space. Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Nice quiet and private location. Hot tub and fire-pit were great. Owner was very responsive to any concerns. To swim in the lake, you need to kayak out a ways as the area in front of the dock is marshy. We really enjoyed this cabin."
