All we wanted was a hot tub so we booked this little getaway. They were so accommodating, a welcome bottle of procesco waiting for us, chocolates, hot chocolate, tea and coffee as well as having a box of thing in the cabin in case you forgot them, like paracetamol and new toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner which we thought was just a lovely touch! "The location was clean and well stocked. The check in process was easy and the hosts friendly and considerate. Only improvement we would suggest would be a curtain across the main entrance for added privacy"

"I don’t even know where to start. We fell in love with the shepherd’s hut just looking at the pictures. The reality was so much more! It was a 5* experience! Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, amazing views, very private and secluded, cooking wise everything you may need, big bathroom and a powerful shower. "This place is amazing. None of us wanted to leave, especially once the cows arrived! It is a little ways outside of town, but very easy to get places. Very quiet, very clean, has everything you need, including bread, milk, and eggs! The water pressure was really nice and everything worked well! You can tell that they owners put lot of thought and consideration into the lodges. The property is really nice too, with ponds and chickens. The hostess is very responsive and helped us get discounted...

"Friendly welcome. Everything set up and ready for on arrival, including coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter & jam. The Hobbit House is tiny, but so well designed, and it just feels so cozy. Good size patio and gorgeous outdoor furniture, including chairs, side tables, table & benches, gas bbq and fire pits with logs. Really, just the perfect rural retreat. Pub (The Rising Sun) and local shop within walking distance. We're already planning our return!"
