"beautiful view and amazing staff. great spot that feels like it’s on the outside of the town and quiet but is still close enough to join in on the nightlife with a short walk. air conditioning makes a big difference and is amazing, as is the hot showers. lovely fresh food and drinks at the sky deck for breakfast, lunch and dinner, do not need to go anywhere else if you need to eat. the beautiful sea is accessible for swims, snorkels and kayak sessions and has impeccable clear water. "Do not stay here, the place is unfinished and the staff whilst helpful are untrained. The ‘beach’ is a strip of sand behind concrete blocks. The sea and surrounding areas are very dirty and lots of rubbish. At one end there is tones of rubbish piled up, the other end there is a huge rusty barge that has pumps and welders on all day. The resort is on a very steep hillside and the only way to get up to room is by buggy which never arrives when you order it. Ordered beers in both the pool bar...

"The accommodation was basic but clean, located on the beach but it’s not relaxing due to the large volume of long tails boats arriving and departing all day every day. Getting a long tail boat to the pier can also be difficult. They won’t leave with one or two people so you often have to wait until more are ready to leave. "I arrived at Long Doo hostel mid morning on 13th January. I had booked and paid for 11 nights 2 weeks prior to travelling. I booked & paid for Mon nite cos i wanted to check straight in without having to wait till 3pm.
