"Very welcoming desk staff offered us a a complimentary drink upon arrival. The rooms weren't as impressive as the communal areas but I loved my massive balcony overlooking the peaceful forests & mountains. Breakfast was well into the luxury end of the spectrum with omelettes to order, loads of fresh fruit, pastries, smoked salmon as well the usual continental stuff, lots of attentive staff to hand here too. It was just a one-nighter and selected as the cheapest place in town that night, much cheaper than nearby Garmisch. Therefore the luxury was kind of wasted on me, I didn't bring my trunks so couldn't use the pool & didn't have the time to join in the multiple organised activities (yoga, walks, exercise classes). It was about a 15 minute walk uphill from the station, my only complaint was that the rooms were very warm (easily solved by leaving my balcony door open). Beautiful hotel if you're in need of a pampering."

"Authentic Austrian hotel with historical charm. The Mountain View’s were stunning from our corner room and the breeze that flowed through the open windows was refreshing. The sauna and spa were an added bonus and the morning breakfast was delicious with many options."

"Worth every penny. The hot springs, the saunas, the hotel itself. Every detail is there to ensure you are comfortable, relaxed, and happy. We ate an amazing dinner, amazing breakfast, and spent all of our time relaxing around the multiple pools and relaxation areas. We will definitely be coming back. "

"This was such a lovely hotel - especially for an airport hotel. Lovely modern amenities and a spacious room. Not sure there was much going on in bar or restaurant, but that didn’t bother me. An easy 5 minute walk to the airport, and it you are coming from the city, a €3 bus ride on the F line drops you off across the road. Too easy."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Das Kaltschmid. The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic. The Seefeld area is scenic with lots going on. The breakfast at the hotel was the best we have had in our European trip thus far. The choices were plentiful and the food was very tasty. They even had an egg bar, where you could order eggs or omelettes to your preference. The place had a lot of character. "
