Our check in was quick and easy poor employee was new only 4 days in and by himself on busy evening. We go to room and it was musty smelling. Phones did not wokr i had to go downstairs to feont deak to get blankets.The bathtub paint was peeling off so you could not take a bath. At 6:00 am the music that plays in Lobby was playing on speakers attached to the building outside so loud it woke us up. Maybe need to think people may be sleeping .at 6;00 am. I was on 2nd floor on front side of building. Was disappointed for a Holiday Inn.

Our rooms were clean and the A/C worked. The bathrooms were clean as well. Breakfast was good and had a very good variety of options. The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially house keeping and the kitchen staff. The night front desk staff was nice but lacked some professionalism. He seemed bothered by me wanting to switch rooms to be close to my family. Then he could only get 1 key made for the new room and he seemed very frustrated.

I was very disappointed with the morning breakfast. The food containers were empty both mornings I tried to eat. The food choices were very sub-par. An egg white omelette or a cheese and egg omelette both days. They were something placed on a baking pan and heated up. Second morning they actually put some biscuits and gravy out, but they too were very scarce for consumption. Gravy pan was empty most of the time.The pancake maker machine was also slow and when it worked made very small pancakes. The coffee maker worked and it made great coffee.

Bed was too firm for my liking, so I didn’t sleep the best. I did ask about other beds, but they are all firm. Heard chatter from neighbors all night due to thin walls. Breakfast was good: hot scrambled eggs, omelet, cinnamon roll, turkey sausage, pork sausage, Greek yogurt with several flavors, pancake machine, sliced bread for toasting, muffins, English muffin, coffee, juice, cereal.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The hotel staff was not polite or welcoming, which set the tone right away. The room was dirty and did not feel properly cleaned. The breakfast area was disgustingly unclean and made us uncomfortable eating there. On top of that, the entire hotel smelled old and had a strong moldy odor. I would not recommend staying here and will not be returning.

I basically had to fight with the housekeepers to clean our room. We werw there for 8 days and they cleaned 1 time. They wouldnt even throw away things like old food. I had to do it ourselves. Not 1 person in that hotel said hello, goodmorning. Nothing. Even though i would say it first. Breakfast would "run out" and hour and a half before it was supposed to end. I will never stay here again.

We have stayed several different places while visiting family in Lafayette, but ever since the first time in this hotel it has been our go to for the last 3 years. Staff members are alway so kind and friendly. Rooms are clean. The breakfast staff are a joy. Busy busy busy. Even though this holiday in has a small gym and pool we have only used the laundry Thank you for such a pleasant stay!
