"We were given a room in a different building, actually a different hotel, Bad Pyrmonter Hof, of the same owner. I didn't like this last minute change. The new place had no garden. I also expected a real double bed, not the twin bed we found in the room. Finally, street noise was very annoying, much more than expected. We had to close the windows to sleep after 6AM. The staff were nice, though, and breakfast was good. Price is reasonable (though I would have gladly paid a bit more for a double...

"Manager opened my door and let himself into my room 6 times over a 5 night stay. Room was dirty and had ants running all over the floor. Blind had been taken off the wall and even after I informed manager, nothing was done. There was always a lot of activity between 1am-3am every morning, including people trying my door handle. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you are travelling alone."

"I would most definitely not recommend this place. The area is very noisy, the interior of the house is old, not clean, not maintained and smelly. There is a hole in the door, the handle falls off, the bed falls apart, the shower is good because it has warm water but not clean. The bar that holds the shower head falls off when you shower, the house is cold but has heaters. The kitchen is lacking in plates, deep plates etc. There is no hand soap in the bathroom and I could go on and on. The car...

"This is a basic place to stay. You get what you pay for. Pluses: 1) very close to public transportation, and 2) super clean. Minuses: 1) noisy neighbors (kids crying), and 2) no elevator to first floor, inconvenient if you have heavy luggage or (like me) knee arthritis."
