"The location of the property is wonderful. Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. But a few minutes away from the busy downtown area on a quiet street. The roof top deck has a lovely view of the beach and the accommodations were great. We would definitely stay here again. John was a great resource for all we needed and very responsive. "

"The apartment is very well presented and best quality. A very comfortable stay. Bed, sofas and balcony seats are all excellent. Kitchen spotless. Plenty of storage and we appreciated the water and bread etc being left for us as we had a late arrival. We would have preferred to have an option to sit on the rear balcony to have breakfast in the sun but it is used as a utility area which is a shame as the front balcony does not get full sun until well into the afternoon. "Casa Lagarto is a basic villa with immediate neighbours, so it did not feel remote. It has all the necessities for a self catered stay.A car is essential for getting around the many delightful locations in the Western Algarve, Silves is particularly appealing.Unsure whether the heating would be suitable for a winter stay.A few problems arose, but these were dealt with very promptly by the manager, which was a big positive."
