A very nice, fully air-conditioned vacation rental for 2 people (+ 1 child), including a bathroom. It features a fully equipped kitchen/living room with a lounge area and a large sleeper sofa, Wi-Fi, a large satellite TV, and a CD radio, as well as a parking space. In the bedroom (200/200 bed), a crib can be provided as an extra bed upon request. The spacious bathroom with shower and toilet has also been recently renovated.

“Vila Monte Luz,” with its three vacation apartments, is located on the outskirts of the romantic fishing village of Ferragudo, directly across from the historic São João do Arade Castle, right on the fine sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean. The expansive natural bay “Praia Grande,” with its long stretch of beach, is well protected by the offshore breakwaters. Among other things, the beach features two local terrace restaurants, two popular beach bars with lounge areas, and many sports facilities.

Ferragudo itself is an old fishing village with enchanting alleyways and historic buildings in the typical Algarve style. A short walk takes you from your vacation rental to the piazza with its cafes and shops, and on to the small harbor with its seafood restaurants and bars. From here, the water taxi will take you to your desired destination.

On the other side of Ferragudo Bay lies the popular city of Portimão and the tourist hotspot Praia da Rocha, with its attractive marina, beach promenade, and many shops, where the nightlife really comes alive in the numerous restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. You can take a comfortable water taxi ride from Ferragudo to the pier of the new marina. From there, you can continue on to do some shopping.....
