Just popped in for a quick one night stay - to visit friends nearby. The location was amazing - very cute town with fun shops and cafes. Nearby is a beautiful public library and playground in the middle of a redwood forest - great to walk through. Room was large (19) with high ceilings and large bathroom . Free continental breakfast served in the sunroom in the AM. Unfortunately we missed out on the wine and cheese hour. Would gladly stay again!

The biggest thing for us was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Most memorable were Melanie who checked us in and Kyle who took care of us most of the time. We were there for our parents' 50th anniversary and were just blown away by Kyle's warm hospitality, and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. Our stay at Surf Lodge was amazing! Kelly was such a fantastic host. The room was beautifully put together and very clean. The design of the entire property was very thoughtful and such a peaceful getaway.

The room was clean and fresh. The bed linens were crisp and clean. The room was equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, iron, flat screen tv, and hair dryer. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, fruit and pastries are provided in the main office in the morning. The hotel staff was friendly, even going so far as to remember and address me by my name when greeting me in the morning. Great staff - convenient location - we took an overnight trip away from kids to go to Hopmunk for a birthday party to see Pride and Joy SF - 8 minute Lyft/Uber ride away - in addition to having onsite eats and drinks, it is adjacent to a Super Duper burger and Peets along with a supermarket

Close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was very accommodating as we arrived a couple hours before check in and they were able to get us a room rather quickly. We were okay if they were not able to but I appreciate they were able to make the effort.

For the price and fact that it's a motel, the friendliness and service was great. Breakfast is included and there were lots of good quality options to choose from. My only complaint is there wasn't a blanket in the room in addition to the sheet and bed cover.

Very clean, quiet. Lush bed & pillows. Nice view of the waterfront from the 2nd floor. Excellent full complimentary breakfast; lots of delicious options from fruit, oatmeal to eggs, bacon & sausage. Staff were wonderful. Very helpful by providing dining/sightseeing information & directions.

Great old silk mill that has been converted into a hotel. It's a great re-use of the space. The rooms are very nice, and the staff were very friendly.

Enjoyed our stay very much..loved the continental breakfast delivered to room..the only parking is down the block and is $20.00 a day..be prepared for checking in at the street..but then enjoy a great stay..

Room price was so high and the room was too basic. Staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Kimberly who checked me in. Room cleanliness especially balcony was just average. Mattress needs to be replaced, not comfortable at all.

San Anselmo is a wonderful place to visit with beautiful surroundings, shops and restaurants. It’s hard to believe huge cities are just over the small mountain. The Inn is the only place to stay right in town. The included breakfast was wonderful with fresh sweet strawberries every morning, and pastries. Check in was a breeze.
