"This property was even better than promised. The cabin is spacious, clean and well appointed. The owners have thought of everything! Kitchen was the best stocked of any rental I have stayed at and the bed and linens were very nice and very comfortable. Location is super private - tucked back in the woods where you will only hear birds and only see wildlife. Owner was super responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back!"

"If you enjoy nature and privacy, this cabin is perfect. It is true to its description. The cabin backs up right to the Platte river and a large deck to go along with it. Plenty of chairs, outdoor table...The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook and the location is close enough to restaurants if you prefer eating out. Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, Suttons Bay, Traverse city, Glen Arbor....all within easy driving distance. I would highly recommend it. Enjoy!!"

"Very clean beautiful chalet-style cottage. Great location to launch from while exploring the Leelenau Penninsula. Wall controls for lighting and overhead fan not labeled, resulting in some difficulty figuring things out. No Wi-Fi available, or at least not communicated to us if it was present."

"Along with being a cozy, spotlessly clean cabin, we found the location to be perfect for easy access to an amazing number of Sleeping Bear hiking trails and gorgeous Lake Michigan beaches. In addition, Glen Arbor, Empire, Leland, and Suttons Bay are all nearby and we never tired of the lovely drives around the peninsula. The cabin and furnishings are so comfortable and cooking meals a breeze in the well stocked kitchen. We also made good use of the outdoor fire pit, while enjoying the nighttime...
