Holiday Home 'Mas' with Mountain Views and Wi-Fi

"This is a lovely property in a beautiful setting, the highlights of the property are the outdoor spaces, there is a very well equipped outdoor kitchen and BBQ. A covered outdoor play area with pool table, table tennis and table football. The swimming pool is ideal and there is an adjoining grassed area. We were there to celebrate our golden wedding with our children and grandchildren and this proved to be ideal for an inter generational venue. The hosts were brilliant, they were very helpful and responded to some minor problems promptly. The one problem we had was that the property was initially advertised as having air conditioning which it does not have, apparently this claim was meant to have been removed from the site but was not. Had we known we would not have considered the property but although it would definitely benefit from AC we still enjoyed our stay."

"Impeccably clean accommodation in central Banyoles old town. Equipped with all the essentials that you will need. Near to local shops meant getting food etc was very easy, short walk away including an old fashioned open all hours corner shop that sells most things. Central location in old town meant we could get to lakeside very easily. The conversion has created a quirky property but means there's extra space. I was cycling and so had a room for bike prep next to front door which was ideal. We temporarily lost the one key set we had, outside normal office hours, and the host was very quick to respond with help. Same when I had a problem with the shower. We were there during the very hot spell of weather, there's no a/c only fans. Only downside there was occiasionally strange smells eminating from the surrounding areas at the back of the property which didn't encourage opening windows at the back to allow a flow of air. I would definitely book again for a stay in Banyoles."

"Nice apartment with all you need in the Center of Banyoles and in walking distance to the lake. Comfortable beds, onside parking, good equipment and easy communication with the Management. We missed air conditioning as we had a very hot summer. Saying this sleeping with open windows was impossible before midnight as the placa was very busy in the evening. Mosquito nets would be also helpful."

"We visited for a triathlon so the area was very busy. There is a free car park available which was full at times. It was also exceptionally hot. The air conditioning was very effective. The rooms were clean and reasonably well equipped. There was very little storage. The bed was comfortable. It was a 15 minute walk to the supermarket and the old town. The hotel does not allow bicycles in the rooms but there is an excellent, secure bicycle room with a selection of tools available. We were directly over the restaurant and heard very little noise from below. The rooms lacked character but were perfectly placed on the lake front."

"Apartment was clean and modern and in a very good location. It had all the equipment required. The apartment was very warm downstairs as there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom bathroom area. The two fans provided did not cool this area. The air-conditioning should be controlled by the customer in the apartment. It seemed to switch itself off in the night when it was needed most. It did not cool the downstairs area. There should be a door on the toilet. It would’ve been nice to have a bottle of water left in the fridge on arrival."
