Shower was a double in a renovated modern bathroom. There were tables and chairs on the balcony up stairs that we could sit and watch the world go by. Meals were a good size and delicious. Car parking at rear too. Tables and chairs with an umbrella outdoor seating were popular. In the heart of the Daylesford township making it an easy access to all the shops, cafes, restaurants etc. Highly recommend."

"The house is very old and consists of a number of separate areas where small groups could meet but with a very large common area near the main kitchen where the full group can be together for important moments such as meals/celebrations etc.The kitchen is very spacious with an excellent arrangement of items to make any meal option very easy as well as an external BBQ.Three bathrooms each with toilet made for a very comfortable stay also.Our visit was near end of winter and the heating option is excellent with the whole house readily heated along with individual control for all bedrooms and common areas.Although they can be noisy there is an abundance of birdlife attracted to the trees/gardens - Cockatoos, Kookaburras, Rosellas (mostly Crimson), Ducks and the occasional Magpie.The Host (Adrian) was excellent with very easy contact possible through web-messages or mobile phone."

The views overlooking the lake and boathouse were absolutely beautiful, and sitting in the lounge room by the fireplace while taking in the scenery was such a relaxing experience.The property was well-equipped with great amenities, making our stay comfortable and effortless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the spa bath was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.The location was fantastic with just a short distance from the town centre, making it easy to enjoy Daylesford’s cafés, shops, and restaurants.One of the highlights was the direct private access to the lake. Our dogs absolutely loved their daily walks along the water, and it made the stay even more special for us.Overall, a peaceful, comfortable, and dog-friendly getaway in a stunning location. Highly recommended!"
