Great rental

This was our second time renting the property. It is spacious, clean, and in a great location. The deck area could use some sprucing up, but overall it is a terrific property to stay in while vacationing in Lake George.

Family Weekend at "The Lake"

This was our first family vacation to Lake George. The home is in a great location and very clean & comfortable. We enjoyed the beach, miniature golf & a ride on the Minne HA Ha which were all an easy walk from the home. Can't wait for our next trip to "The Lake"!

Fantastic as always!

We have been staying at Mike and Debbie’s home for years now and each time we leave we cannot wait to get back. A lot of updating and upgrades since our last visit in February which was a bonus! Lake George is a special place and this home/location is a wonderful home base to explore it from.

Great stay!

We had a beautiful stay at Mike and Debbie's condo! The house was extremely clean, spacious, and well stocked with amenities. The property manager met with us when we arrived and showed us around. Not to mention, we were literally steps from the lake. We were able to walk everywhere and enjoy all the splendor that Lake George has to offer! We hope to be back again!

Nice place close to town

Property was everything as shown in the pictures. Only issue was the beds and the foam mattresses, which are not good for me, but were fine for everyone else. Would definitely stay there again as it was just outside of town, which means it was very peaceful and quite. We only traveled with 5 people, but this place could easily hold more.

Americade Stay

From the time I asked the owners (which was only days prior to the trip) to the end of our stay everything was top notch. The property manager was awesome, the townhouse was great in everyway....location, size, cleanliness and more. I would totally recommend this place for a large family, 2 small families or a group of friends. Everything was close to us, restaurants, the small town, the lake and the beach, shopping and more. I will stay here again... Loved it!!

Wedding Condo

We stayed here for our wedding which took place at the Fort William Henry. It was great. The only downside was having to bring our own sheets and towels. It took up extra space, which was at a premium, since I had the bring everything up for the wedding too. Over condos in the Outlook include these. The space was great and Cody (property manager), was very helpful. He even contacted us about something left behind (we searched prior to lead, but couldn’t find it.

Family friendly rental

We loved staying at this rental. We were there for 8 nights. It was clean and comfortable - just like home, with plenty of room for our large extended family. My kids were able to ride bikes, we could walk to the lake and into town (which was a little far but on the nice days it was great!) It was a pleasure working with Mike and Debbie. The only suggestion I would make is to have more kitchen utensils. Making breakfast every morning without a simple wooden spoon was a challenge, especially when cooking more than one thing. Some extra eating utensils might be helpful too when hosting a large family. Overall, a great place to stay!

Spotless unit in a great location!

We truly enjoyed our stay here! We had a group of 6 adults and 3 kids and it was perfect. It was close to everything you would need; Resturant’s, outlets, the lake, mini golf, bowling, etc. Cody was so kind and so helpful. He truly cares about the guests and makes sure you know he is available for any questions you have or anything you need. The unit was spotless. It is 3 levels, giving plenty of space. While you do need to bring your own sheets and towels, they provide plenty of comforters! The only thing that could have made our stay better (which was purely just something that would have worked better for our group) was the bedroom with the twins/trundle was on the lowest floor. The rest of the bedrooms were up on the 3rd level. We had intended to put our kids in that room, but with their age they needed to be near us also, so having that twin room upstairs, and one of the larger beds downstairs would have been easier but again nothing that ruined our stay! I would highly recommend this unit for any group traveling to Lake George and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Fair at best

Although property was a good location and walkable to town, the condo itself was disappointing. It had beds for 9 people but the kitchen did not have enough dishes, glasses or silverware for 9 people and was poorly equipped with things that were needed for day to day cooking. The microwave was broken (which the owners knew about) which was a major inconvenience. The layout of the condo made the dining room and living room useless and there was not enough seating in the family room off the kitchen, so it felt cramped. The couches barely sat 5 people. There was no water pressure in any of the bathrooms or kitchen. The master bathroom, which was huge, had the tiniest plastic shower. There was only basic cable and it blacked out every few minutes. They don’t offer any linens or towels (even kitchen towels) which is a major inconvenience. All the furnishings were low end and seemed thrown together. The deck furniture was dirty and the wooden deck was in need of repair. We didn’t use it at all. All in all, it was a place to stay, but it was a bit disappointing.

Charming Getaway with Ideal Location

Our family stay at Lake George was truly unforgettable! The location was fantastic, offering easy access to all the attractions and activities in the area. We loved how close we were to everything, making it convenient for day trips and exploring. The accommodation was spacious enough to comfortably fit our large family, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy their own space. We were delighted to find a great selection of DVDs and games available, which kept everyone entertained during our downtime. Overall, it was a perfect getaway for our family!

With the exception of two aspects of this stay, our experience was favorable. These, though, were annoying.The first was that no sheets or towels were provided, It was necessary that we had to bring our own. We were aware of this going in, but it still detracted from our experience. The second is related: The three King beds are a real pain to make. They are low to the ground and have mattresses (foam) that are unwieldy to handle, especially because they are surrounded by a bed frame that makes it difficult to tuck in the sheets. I can see why the owners don't want to deal with it,

Family Vacation

The house was nice. It was a hassle to have to take your own sheets and towels. There was no heat on the lower floor (basement bedroom and bathroom) which is located next to the garage. They provided a stand up heater that didn't really help in the very cold weather. The bathroom was full size but it was very cold!! They advertised a outside grill but there was a foot of snow on the deck, so unable to use it. The sidewalks were very icy and slippery. I recommend they provide "ice melt" for renters to use. I wouldn't recommend renting this house in the winter months if you need to use all bedrooms. The location was good.
