Lake George Diamond Point 3 Bed / 2 Ba two story Cabin

The Woodpecker (#33) is a cozy, rustic 2 story, 3 bedroom 2 bath log cabin that offers all of the comforts and features of home. We are set here under the pine trees up on Vito Road in Diamond Point, in the Lake George valley of the Adirondack Mountains, on the west side of Lake George. The Woodpecker is situated on the traditional style family mini-resort known as the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge, 5 acres of cabins, pool, games, bonfire pits and opportunities for family fun! The interior is finished on the first floor with vertical pine boards, adding a rich look and traditional feel, complete with a LP gas burning cast iron stove, full kitchen, first floor bath, living room, dining area, washer & dryer, private bonfire pit with Adirondack chairs, picnic table, charcoal BBQ grill, flat screen TV, A/C and Free high spped WiFi. Our master bedroom features a vaulted ceiling and aqueen bed along with an ensuite bathroom that includes full tub. Bedroom 2 has a KING size bed, and bedroom 3 has two twin beds. Sleeps up to 6 people in beds with a roll away bed option on the first floor level that accommodates a 7th Guest. While we rarely recommend a roll-away bed for adults seeking a very comfy bed, they are often perfect for teens and kids. Please let us know if you plan to bring a 7th guest. The cabin is part of our larger resort and guests have access to the heated pool, indoor game room, lounge & guest laundry. Enjoy horseshoes, shuffleboard, ping-pong, pool, basketball & games. We also have a large gas BBQ grill at the pool area.
The Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge features over 30 unique accommodation, and we are pleased to host families, groups, teams, and friends - ask about our other available cabins!. The property is perfect for events such as family reunions and celebrations. While many of our cabins have similar features, each have special features that make them unique. Our cabins have full kitchens stocked with pots and pans and full bath. Linens, soaps and shampoos provided. *Please bring your own beach and bath towels.
Guests have access to the heated pool (in season), tiki bar, communal gas grill and fire pit, indoor game room, outdoor games including basketball hoop, shuffleboard, ping-pong, horseshoes, badminton etc., as well as the indoor rec room/community room.
Other things to note
The property is located almost exactly mid-way between Lake George Village (6 minutes) and Bolton Landing (8 minutes). We are not on the lake, but public beach access is a short drive away. If you are brining a boat or jet ski and looking for dock space, please ask us - we may be able to help at one of our other locations! There are beautiful hiking and biking trails just minutes away. During the summer season, our property is served by the Lake George Trolley, carrying passengers to destinations between Lake George Village and Bolton Landing.
We are 10 minutes to Six Flags Great Escape and Adirondack Extreme Adventure tree & ropes course, 1 minute from Saddle Up horse back riding, 7 minutes to the Million Dollar Beach, and midway between the villages of Lake George & Bolton Landing with shops, restaurants, Fort William Hendry, nightlife, entertainment, mini golf, go carts and much more. On the lake enjoy: boat, jet ski, or kayak rentals, parasailing, water skiing, scuba and more. A short ride to Natural Stone Bridges and Caves, Fort Ticonderoga and Crowne Point Bridge. Vermont is a quick drive around the bottom of the lake!
Building description: The Woodpecker is connected in one small wall to The Wren #34. They are separate but touching buildings. Both have separate entrances along with separate amenities such as grills, fire pits, etc. Because there are connected cabins and this is an authentic and original rustic cabin, although it is very rare, you may hear neighbors through the wall. We ask all guests to respect the quiet hours to minimize disturbances. Please bring your own beach or bath towels. All bed linens are provided.

-INTERNET. We have high speed internet wifi infrastructure throughout the property. Please download or print your directions and map on hand prior to arrival for use while locating the cabin, since cell phones take time to adjust or may have poor reception. Wifi internet service is active throughout the property, and is available upon your arrival.
-Our pet policy: We allow up to one animal, under 50 lbs and at least one year in age. There is a pet fee applicable to your stay. While a guest with us, animals must not be left unattended in your accommodation unless crated, are not allowed on furniture or bedding, and any “business” must be cleaned up by pet parents. The department of Health regulations do not allow dogs at pools or the game room. Guests must select "Pet" when reserving. Please contact us before booking if you wish to request exceptions to this policy.
-The Pines & Hemlocks cabins & chalets are part of the Adirondack Diamond Point Resort, which includes a variety of cabins and lodge accommodations and amenities on a 5 acre property spanning both sides of Vito Rd. The main entrances and signs for the resort are located on Lake Shore Drive. The Pines comprise 3 log and A-frame buildings at 19 Vito Rd, and The Hemlock is the end unit of a multi-space authentic log cabin, and is located up the hill on 23 Vito Road. Vito Road is a quiet, no-outlet side street.
-We provide all bed linens, comforters, blankets, and pillows. Please bring your own bath towels, or ask us in advance for assistance. We do not provide a pool side towel service.
-We are not a waterfront property, however, we have some views of the lake from parts of the property and several accommodations.
