"We stayed only one night as we drove up north with our dogs. The neighborhood was great for walking with beautiful lake views. The host was very accommodating and the cabin was clean, well stocked and just as advertised. The cabin has a full kitchen and great dining area to look at the sunset as you have a meal. We will be back for a longer stay. *since we were just stopping through we ordered food to go from the red oak filling station which was close by. Food was good and fast"

"We had a little snafu with the check in process. The automated email didn’t go out to me like it was supposed to but I contacted the owner and was given the info within minutes. Very very very clean and decorated nicely. 10 min away from Everything we wanted to do downtown. Overall a great stay."

Perfect for a weekend getaway, and you don't even mid the rain as it dances upon the tin roof and casecades across the window views of the forest just outside the bedroom and porch! "The house was very nice and exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed dinner on the deck out back with the fire pit going. The grill would not light up using the push button igniter. Recommend bringing a long lighter to ignite the grill if planning on using it for cooking. We did not have one but a quick trip to Wal Mart minutes down the road solved that issue. We enjoyed fishing off the deck/dock. Wish we had brought a canoe or some kayaks because you could set sail right from the back. Overall...

"This cabin in the woods was a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of life and relax. It had all the comforts of home and was in a convient and beautiful location to visit Lake Catherine State Park, Hot Springs National Park, and Crater of Diamonds State Park. My family loved the place and would definetly come back!!"
