"Such a great place! I was at the Inn and my balcony overlooked the entry to the restaurant and where golfers were being dropped off so not too much privacy. I didn’t use it as a result. There were a couple things broken in the room that hadn’t been fixed (corner piece of the wall and a knob was missing on the nightstand). I wish there was a lounge chair to sit in and bubble bath for the tub- but otherwise the room was great. No fridge though for my leftovers. As far as the property goes, i didn’t get much instruction at check in other than to check out the social shops. And was handed a map? I wish there were bikes to rent as I would have rode all over the trails! I didn’t walk them as I wasn’t to sure if it was a walking trail or golf trail? The resort is huge and I wish I had been at the lodge where it seems there may be more easily accessible trails and more going on? I guess I’ll have to book again to find out and get a do over with the lessons learned! And hopefully it will be warm (not 63) so I can enjoy the pool, which was the main reason for my visit (had it been over 75)…."
"The yurt was fantastic, and the weather was perfect for it. Super clean, ample parking, everything you need. Just bring your own towel and the shower is a bit far from the tents. Bathrooms were clean. Sites are well spaced out. The host that checked me in was beautiful...I'd marry her in a heart beat. The guy directing traffic was super helpful. Will definitely stay there again! Highly recommended!"
Private Forest Cabin: Hike, Bike, Hot Tub + Sauna, near ATV trails and lakes
10/10 Excellent
"This place is GREAT!!!We couldn't have asked for a better location for outdoor enthusiasts or just people that want to hang out on the large deck and relax. We had both It was such a treat to be able to go hike and run on the Pacific Crest Trail (which is just a very short drive up the dirt road) and then be "home" to shower up and have wonderful meals and comfortable beds. The hot tub was nice, but the sauna won best of show.We all spent a good portion of our downtime in the game room which now also hosts a ping pong table as well as the other game tables shown. The house is a very good size and would be comfortable for a large group/family. We only had four adults, so it was very very very spacious.Check in was easy. Hosts we're very attentive and responded quickly. Everything was very clean and tidy.Check out list was super easy..We LOVED this property!!We're already planning a winter trip here for, out the front door cross-country skiing ."
One of a kind family retreat! Slps 30 | Gym | Game Room | On Silver Creek
10/10 Excellent
"The Highlander Lodge exceeded our expectations! Our group of 25 included 1 set of grandparents, and four families with a total of 15 grandkids from age 5-15. The game rooms and sports court gave the kiddos plenty to do, and the adults could find plenty of spaces to quietly relax. We had beautiful weather the last week in July, but even if it had been a rainy week, the family would have had a great experience due to the huge indoor space! Most of the rooms had individually controlled quiet A/C which meant we did not need to open windows. Very comfortable! When outside you can hear the distant sound of the highway, but that was not a problem for us at all. Wonderful to have hosts willing to rent to large family groups with kids! We took good care of the property and hope the owners continue to make it available to families like ours!"
