"Location is excellent! Property is still recoving from the flood. Sitting outside on huge rocking chairs looking at Lake Lure is one heck of a view."

"This was the perfect venue for a womens book retreat. We loved all the comfy seating options inside and outside the cabin. We even had a surprise guest right before we left, a little black bear stopped by for a peak in our windows. Kitchen wise there was both a keurig and a drip coffee maker. Having two fridges, one that dispensed water and ice was great. Would recommend bringing some foil and ziploc bags. The only downsides were the towel service, a few of the towels were a bit musty smelling and a slight gap in the enclosed porch meant a wasps stopped by. But overall we loved this location, it was so cozy and we didn't even make it to the resort amenities, we will definitely be recommending this spot to others."

"Brownie was a great communicator and we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space, the hot tub, and the fire pit. The boat was a blast to drive around the lake for our happy hour. We also loved that the tv had a lot of apps and that we could watch all our football games. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. The town has done a great job with recovery efforts and the lake is at full pond. Great trip!"

"Really nice. It was me the neice and my 2 aunts and my uncle. We try and take a trip every so often. We really enjoyed our little time here together."

"The house itself was wonderful. Large dining room and living room. Great windows to look at the lake. Clean and well kept. Easy to find and close to everything. One thing we did not see and would have been nice to know was that there're no stairs to the lower level where 4 of the beds are from the inside. The only way to get to them was from the outside. We also knew there were stairs down to the lake, but did not realize there was about 6 flights of steps down. It was fine for my husband and I, but not for my parents who are older. We would stay again, just maybe with a different group."
