HTR Adirondacks

"The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The shower was NOT spotless, and the floors weren't super clean. The main bedroom was ok but the bunks in the bunk room were small and not so clean under the mattresses. There was only ONE small area to hang clothes. They left no cleaning supplies or paper towels to clean before we left."
Adirondack Lodge Old Forge

"Two adults traveling for a kayaking trip with friends. The receptionist was very welcoming and explained everything clearly. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Location was ideal, just a few minutes to downtown Old Forge and the Thendara station. It's obviously an older building, but well maintained and suitable for what we needed. We would stay here again!"

"Very nice quiet spot. The kids loved the playground a few feet down the road. We all enjoyed the fire pit and making smores every night. Inside was clean and spacious enough that we all enjoyed every bit of it . The washer and dryer on site was handy. There was a early morning wake up call from a roaster down the road which we got a kick out of. White Lake was a distance down the road but the family checked out the dock. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and the host was very nice."

"Location was convenient but is on the main street through town. Beds were fairly comfortable for foam mattresses, very clean and perfect for a short stay. Great communication from host."
