"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grimsborgir by Keahotels. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very comfortable, and the outdoor hot tubs made the experience even more relaxing. Hot tub water was a bit too hot so be careful with that. Bathrobes and slippers were nice addition. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh options, and the peaceful countryside setting was perfect for enjoying Icelandic nature. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived at 9 pm and they still served us very delicious dinner. A perfect hotel for exploring the Golden Circle while enjoying a quiet luxury retreat."

Nice cold plunge, steam room, hot tub area. Smaller room by North American standards but comfortable beds. Parking is incredibly easy for Iceland. Just a good place. Stay here"

"The room itself was fine - bright windows and lighter coloured laminate wood floors. Bathroom was stylish but not very functional with the design of the sink (no countertop space and can’t imagine how many things fall down the very large drain). Upon arrival gentleman checking us in was not very friendly. We had an issue with the safe in our room and he accused us of inputting the code wrong. We hadn’t. We had just arrived and the door was already locked. It started beeping loudly and wouldn’t stop. He came up and unlocked the safe and gave us the pillow cases we asked for - and then he chastised us as there were already cases on the extra pillows in the cupboard. Was hard to tell given the cases were so thin. Mattresses were comfortable though. Also there is a sign at reception that said the spa (eg hot tub) was 3,000 ISK PER PERSON! There was no mention of this on the hotel website or on Expedia. What other hotels charge for using a hot tub in Iceland?!? Previous hotels we have stayed at have not. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. Wish we had stayed at Hotel Selfoss instead. "

"Favorite hotel we stayed at in Iceland!! It is conveniently located along the golden circle in a geothermal field next to a small river. We were upgraded to a river view (which I would definitely book next time), spent copious amounts of time in the hot tubs, and even saw the northern lights!! The included breakfast was delicious, room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Easy parking out front. Truly picturesque — had such a wonderful time at this hotel and hope to be back in the future!"
