"Great place for a home base for a 3 week stay in MN (we're orginally from MN and lived in the same area). Loved the location and proximity to all the places we wanted to go. We frequented all our favorite restaurants (and discovered a new one nearby - Wise Acre), walked around Lake Harriet every morning and along Minnehaha Creek, visited the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Institute of Art and took in a play at the Guthrie. "This was horrible. We arrived and the place immediately smelled like urine. An inside door was kicked through and post it notes were put on that. The inside electrical lines were not up to code (spouse is an electrician). We immediately left and had to book a hotel because this was not safe for humans to live in. The host refunded only 1 night after we mentioned the unsafe conditions. Never stay here"

"Location is great. Nice, safe neighborhood. On street parking was never an issue. We had a bit of an issue with the lock box, but the onsite owner had it resolved right away. This unit is in the basement of an older home and we stayed over the Chritmas week. Being an older home, we could clearly hear the owners and thier dog moving about upstairs. "This place was great for my long stay with my dog. The neighborhood is very dog friendly & I always felt safe. The apartment is spacious. Its a 1 bedroom with a den with plenty of storage & sleeping space. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking meals and the in unit washer/dryer was nice to have as well. Its also close to the lakes and Uptown for groceries, shopping and bar/restaurants. Russell was great host, just a message away if I needed anything, and was often at the property...
