"The check-in was easy but we wanted early access but it was expensive. Some places let you go in early if the place was ready. We also had to pay to checkout 1 1/2 hours later. The description if the baths were 2 baths but there were only 2. We were hoping for at least a half bath so we could have two toilets downstairs. The beds were comfy,Place was clean. Front door sticks when you try to open it. We loved the location and easy walk to city center."

Mantra is a well located place with lovely 2-3 bedroom town homes. The washer and dryer were very convenient and efficient. We were provided with detergent and the staff was happy to provide extra if needed. Very well located and walking distance from the Old Church and lake. Close to restaurants and easy to spot from the high way. Try the pies at Run 77, hopt chocolate and amazing breakfasts plus free wifi. For dinner, try Tin plate kitchen and bar. A truly magical setting with service to match. We’ve stayed in many New Zealand hotels, and this was the first where the staff seemed truly focused on exceeding guests’ expectations. And boy, did they! We had room service dinner, and each—absolutely delicious—course was delivered exactly when we were ready for it, and at the perfect temperature. With no television, we had only conversation (mostly about the food!) and stars to keep us entertained, but seeing every constellation imaginable is an...
