"We had a 7 day stay we came for our daughter's Wedding - check in was easy, reception staff were lovely and helpful but when it came to our room it didn't take long before we were started to wonder as to when it was last cleaned?? everywhere we looked in our room it was covered in dust - skirting boards, top of fridge every piece of artwork, top of our bed, all around the toilet, we had cobwebs above our curtains, and the dryer filter was full. Our air conditioners weren't cooling the room
properly we got told just to turn them down but on further inspection aircon filters were blocked full of dust. I spoke to the 2IC on Sun re: our concerns about our room (except for the aircons this we learnt at a later stage) We were given 2 options 1. They would do a thorough clean of the room the next day or 2. we could leave and go somewhere else; we told them that we would talk about it and let them know our decision the next morning. Our decision was to stay and for them to thoroughly clean the room. We left early the next morning off to do wedding shopping on our return the room had been made up but none of our room concerns had been done. I guess l had insulted them asking for a duster? no duster just both Managers. The manager seemed upset with us and made us feel bad for our complaint l explained our house isn't this unclean. And it wasn't just our room, the passageway just as dirty got told my room is my only concern. We left a day earlier with nothing from them,"
