Derrick Cave is a lava tube in Oregon. One side is very short. Several inlets for sun and the opposite side goes several hundred feet or so before dead ending. The road there is over 20 miles of forest service road. You should have a truck or slightly higher vehicle and tough tires. I saw no one on the way there or back. Watch for cows as well. #Nature

"Location good, but this property is very old and needs an upgrade. The stairs leading to the upper floor needs to be repaired before someone gets hurt. The Lady that checked us in is very nice and helpful. It’s OK for a one night stay "

"What a wonderful place to stay. Roomy, well-decorated, clean and neat, very easy to find, and very quiet. The grand staircase intrigued us. Would definitely stay again!"
