The White River is home to the wintering bald eagle. Expect to see Canadian geese floating down river and deer on our property,
We supply everything you need for a fantastic experience but your fishing gear, clothes, and consumables. You may rent our boats or kayaks (on property) rods/reels OR bring your own. Good place to stay. Fishing dock was great addition to our stay. Location is close to restaurants and adventures. All it needs is a nice lounge chair on the deck.
Cabin was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Loved the seating by the river! Relaxed by the fire pit every night. Wonderful place to relax and destress. Lighting in cabin was a little dim for my older eyes.
Great place to stay! Great people to work with! We could t have asked for a better trip. Walt checked on us and made sure we didn’t need anything. Lindsey was always quick to reapond for any questions we had. If you’re lookin for a great cabin close to the water you have got to stay here. Also if you have any questions about anything just ask they will gladly answer and are such helpful people. Check em out and you’ll really enjoy your stay!
We were pleasantly surprised that the rental was exceptionally clean and had great access to the river. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and cooking items. No need to bring much. Although we were not there long, we enjoyed all the luxury items offered. The exterior had a great table to play cards at and watch the sunset. My husband liked being able to walk to the dock area to fish or the boat ramp to wade in to fly fish. We will book this place now every time we decide to visit the White River.
As a family we have enjoyed the White River fishing for years. River cliff will forever be our go to location. Several great options and dog friendly as well
We enjoyed our stay and loved being able to fish right from the back yard. There’s plenty to do in the area. We enjoyed every minute. Cabin is clean and stocked with all you need.
Host & manager were helpful with location & wifi code when we couldn’t find the details (sent in email rather than via the VRBO app). Didn’t find the washer & dryer mentioned in the listing, but we didn’t really need it during our few days’ stay, so it wasn't an issue. Great location, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed.
Love the location in accordance of where we like to fish. Nice have the launch for our boat however it needs a little work. Cabin had everything we needed, nice having a washer and dryer since we were there for 2 weeks. We were disappointed in cleanliness of floors and shower but everything else was good. We loved the cabin and will definitely go back.
We have stayed at this cabin several time. It is convenient for us in that it has accommodations we like and a boat launch. This could be a really nice place it was cleaned up about. Yard mowed, rid of old stuff lying around. It needs some TLC, I’m speaking from a woman’s point of view. Ceiling fans were very dirty, foil lining bottom of oven was dirty, there were dishes in the dishwasher. There were men’s clothes hanging in the closet which was weird to me. We will go back because of the location and boat launch just wish more attention was placed on cleanliness, again I’m speaking from a woman’s point of view.
This trip was great. But not for me..i caught a cold..BUT..we still enjoyed ourselves. This trip was for my husbands birthday. (76) and he wanted to go fishing. We’re originally from St. Petersburg, Florida. Born and raised, and fished in the Gulf. This fishing here is different with baits. and although we didn’t catch anything we got so many helpful tips from the locals and even the returning guests. The property manager, Lindsey , and her husband were so helpful. The cabin was so so cute and clean, until we got there with our German “shedder” Everything is stocked to the max. We love this place and hope to go back in the Spring.
Everything was good till we started looking for our dogs toy and moved the recliners. They had not been moved for a while…clumps of others pet hair, markers, etc. So I was a bit put out by the “tip bowl” on the table reminding me to tip the cleaning people. Also the glass stove top needs some cleaning, cooked on grease or food. Just needs the stove top cream used on it. Also our feet were black after walking around bare ft. Should have a swiffer available to clean up spills and foot prints as the grass it wet in the morning so you track in leaves and leave wet foot prints. Nice place and great location for fishing and relaxing.
This is our second time to stay here. Love the property and the fishing pier! Glad the weather was nice since the fireplace was not working- we enjoyed it 3 years ago. We would definitely go back for a third stay!
Loved cabin A which faced the river with deck which was a great place to hang out while not fishing. Cabin is well equipped, clean and a few steps from the water. Access to fishing boat, kayaks, etc for additional charge. We will definitely return!
