"Close to local beaches. Port Macquarie is a peach of a place to visit. The fact that a millennia ago it was volcanic makes the coastline a vista to explore. The home we stayed in was comfortable and clean. It was located between the main town and it's southern localities which are all easy to access. Just turn left or right and your on your way! Would stay in the property again!"

"This unloved house had inadequate amenities (e.g. kitchen utensils were lacking, pans were uneven making cooking difficult). We arrived in height of summer and the house was a sauna (no AC), making for a very uncomfortable stay. One of the nights, backyard neighbour from hell blasted music at max volume from dusk till after 2am (speakers were directly pointing to our bedrooms and living area), we had 3 young kids who were not able to sleep. The sofa was sagging and lumpy, the mattresses were...

"Fantastic, quiet, fully fenced…some plumbing issues such as shower drips constantly. Ditto for kitchen tap. But otherwise fabulous. Very clean!!"

"An older house that suited us with a dog. We did not require modern facilities and liked the old beach house feel. The original booking was the flat which was too small and offered no relaxing feel. So very grateful that we could immediately up grade to the house."

"Needs maintenance"

"The property Banyandah is metres from what is a very busy road. We had no idea that there would be noisy traffic day and night passing right outside of the lounge and bedroom window . It ruined our holiday as we just couldn't sleep for the disturbance . It was sad as the holiday was to celebrate my 75th birthday. I feel that we ought to have been made aware of this situation at the time of booking but nothing on the Stayz site made mention of this. It was the worst holiday I can...

"The house had literally everything we needed and it was super clean and well maintained. The whole family loved it and our dog loved watching the world from the back deck. The location was great, walking distance to Shelly Beach, and really close to Lighthouse Beach which is super dog-friendly. Plus, one of my favourite cafes, Sea Acres, was a 5min walk from the house. Plus, Katie was an absolute superstar. So easy to deal with and very responsive. Thank you!"

"Happy given the circumstances"

"We had a wonderful break at Crowdy Head House. The location is perfect! Directly across the road from the beach which stretches for about 19km - and that means there’s always space to get away from other beach goers (even in busy times). The house looks quirky, but is comfortable and has a rooftop eyrie from which you can enjoy sunset drinks with ocean views. Besides the quiet perfection of the beach, there’s the proximity to National parks and interesting historical locations - great walks...
