"We stayed one evening as a stop off on our way back to the ukSweet little house. We were charged 6E for towels which were not supplied. We did have beach towels with us which I did tell the owner. We have still been charged for towels. We had to clean the house which was not clean from the previous occupants. We would have been charged 35E for a clean otherwise. Hôtel Le Cyrano

8/10 Good

"Affordable budget hotel a mile or so from the old town. Rooms and bedding were clean, plenty of parking, friendly and helpful staff, good (optional) continental breakfast available in the morning."

Brit Hotel Europ Bergerac

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. At check in we were given a map and shown the best way to walk to the town, only a few minutes walk away. Our room was very quiet and clean with blackout curtains. There was a very good choice of continental food at breakfast. The swimming pool was a great bonus and you are even given pool towels to use."

Château les Merles

10/10 Excellent

"The Chateau was amazing. The staff were the most helpful team we have ever met. Travelling with a 4-month old baby was made so easy, by their care and understanding. They just couldn't do enough for us. Thank you, everyone. Our room was very large, the sitting room was great and a big spacious bathroom for the three of us. Eating outside was magical, in the courtyard with pretty lighting candles, etc. The food was incredible. The surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect. Thank you again, Roy and Jackie"

Hôtel Le Roxane

8/10 Good

"Perfectly fine for a budget hotel, on an industrial estate off the ring road. It's clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The pool was a definate bonus on a hot day and for a pre breakfast swim. So long as you're not looking for rustic, romantic, french charm, then it's a good place for a stop over on a long journey."
