This is a charming historic hotel that is very well run. The bar is very good and service there is excellent. It’s a short walk across the Delaware River bridge to New Hope, and convenient for the New Hope Playhouse and riverside restaurants.

We stayed in a room with second floor balcony and it was fantastic! The room was beautiful and we enjoyed having the extra dimension of the outside to sit and have our coffee in the morning and a drink in the afternoon. This is a wonderful place to stay. Free parking too which is premium in this town! Highly recommend!

Its an old building but very well maintained. At check-in we received a 10% off for each day for the bar. Being that it is very old the room ceiling at 7' but really very nice. The bathroom was big and updated. The bar serves drinks out on the front porch and is great for people watching. Enjoyed the short walk crossing the bridge to New Hope PA.

The good: Great historic hotel close to everything. Very clean. Pretty room. Good food and drinks. Staff was very friendly. Opportunity for improvement: The beds were too soft. I am used to a firmer mattress because of my back otherwise I highly recommend.

I had a lovely room 401 but its AC could not keep up with the temp surge. So I was promptly moved to 402. Staff was lovely, the place has history. I had a bath robe and a beautiful room. I felt pampered.
