In the heart of Lancaster Co Amish Country, very near Sight & Sound

Located on a quiet side street in the beautiful Lancaster County. It is a quarter acre property that is well-maintained with a newly remodeled bi-level house (exterior still needs work, dont let that scare you). A solid block house built in the 1950s, has lots of charm, hardwood floors and neutral colors. Three bedrooms, one full bath, fully equipped kitchen, and living room area. It has a yard out back if you enjoy sitting outside.
Sight & Sound Theater (4.4 miles), American Music Theater, Dutch Wonderland, Strasburg Railroad, Choo Choo Barn, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Lancaster Convention Center, American Music Theatre, Amish Buggy Rides all within 10-20 minutes of here. Towns of Bird-in-Hand, Intercourse, Strasburg, Paradise, Lancaster City and even Lititz are all very near-by. Very centrally located. Many chain restaurants with-in 5-10 minutes, and Tanger Outlets too!! Also some specialty restaurants such as Katies Kitchen, Dienner’s, Miller’s Smorgasboard, Agape Cafe, Village Cafe, Tomato Pie Cafe, & Hudson Botanical. Best coffee shop around… Latte Luv by far the best (has 3 locations, 2 are walk-in,Paradise location is drive-thru only).
All of the tourist attractions near-by but the property is located on a quiet off street. Family oriented neighborhood with Amish neighbors across the street.

ALSO NOTE- ABSOLUTELY NO parties allowed on this property. Any signs of a group gathering will be reason for owners to terminate your stay.

Family weekend getaway

My husband and I came up for our 16th wedding anniversary and decided to make it a family getaway. We had an amazing and comfortable stay! The house was clean and cozy and perfect. Will definitely come stay again as we try to make multiple trips each year.

Driving up to property I was glad we were prewarned that it was rough. However, once we entered, the house was homey, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Betty’s house was perfect and offered everything we needed. Thank you for a providing such a great place for our girls trip.

Such a wonderful place to stay, it felt like home!Would definitely stay there again. The host’s were very friendly and went above and beyond. It had snowed during our stay and the driveway, walkways and even our cars were cleaned off. It was also nice to know the story behind Betty’s house!

We had such a nice stay at Betty's house. Elmer and Rosa are very kind and communication was excellent. The house is adorable, very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, a side street off a busier road with very little through traffic. We were so close to Bird and Hand and everything we wanted to do was easy to get to. I would highly recommend Betty's House and look forward to staying again.

We enjoyed our stay and the house was cute. It would be good to have a second bathroom and the water pressure in the bathroom sink needs attention. It was close to Sight and Sound and all of the Amish area. Location was good.

Lancaster chocolate Tour

Perfection- great place, great location us cyclist in town for part 1 of 3 trifecta of the Covered Bridges Classic. We only stayed one night but are returning in two weeks for part 2. Newly upgraded appliances with well stocked kitchen. Beds were super comfortable. We ate at the Agave Cafe and Grill on the host recommendation and loved it.

Great location and clean home for small family.

We had a great stay with our small family of 4, two kids ages 4 and 1. Check in was easy and host was responsive to all messages. Location was great for our time at Dutch wonderland and visit to cherry Crest farm. It was nice being close to a sheetz too. Home was very clean and kid friendly. The home is near a volunteer fire house so there is some risk of a overnight alarm, which did happen to us, but thankfully it only woke up my wife and I, and there was only one call. Definitely not a deal breaker at all just something to be aware of. We will definitely plan to stay here again next time we come up to the area!
