Sleep in one of the 3 large tastefully styled queen size bedrooms
with the original fireplaces and all windows overlooking
the beautiful gardens.
All rooms have fixed wall heaters to keep yourself warm.
Or stay the night in the gorgeous single bedroom,
called Vintage Rose.
Or choose the 5th bedroom with ensuite and 2 single beds,
looking out over the garden rockeries.

For a game, reading, TV, or a movie come together in the SITTING ROOM with the original large fireplace where one in the old days prepared their family meals.
And if you like home cooking, you will love the LARGE KITCHEN with all modern appliances and a pantry for all your needs for a great breakfast and more.

Well , what a delight this place was - 5 bedrooms - clean linen and towels provided - beautifully furnished and fitted out - cosy fires and potbelly stove -lovely gardens and aspect - walking distance into Lancefield - the hostess "Adele" is a charming and helpful guide who takes real pride in her property . Very affordable for that part of Victoria , and we plan to stay again !

This is a great stay. Lovely historic homestead amongst expansive beautiful gardens in peaceful surrounds. The house is well equipped with everything you need. Adele, the host, was very welcoming and accomodating. Lots of small towns and wineries nearby and lots of things to do. Close to Woodend, Macedon, Hanging Rock, Kyneton which we visited. Well worth a visit and highly recommended.

The Manse provided us with a lovely relaxing weekend away. We spent our time sitting around either of the open fires, cooking and chatting. The perfect place to do this! Adele is an amazing host and made everything so easy!

Our 2nd stay at The Manse June 2022 was just as 'warm' as our first. A beautiful ambience,all amenities we needed, and the beds just so comfortable. Our host, Adele, is so welcoming, without being intrusive. We four mature age sisters enjoyed our stay very much.

A wonderful character home that was cozy and warm. Very clean, loved that the linen and towels are provided and a well stocked kitchen. The property was even better than promised in the listing. Set in beautiful countryside with stunning views, the house maintained its vintage atmosphere with sacrificing modern creature comforts. The host was a pleasure to deal with, and my only complaint is that we should have made a long booking. Will be returning soon.

It was freezing cold when we arrived but the heating was on ready for us and the fireplaces ready to light. Once the house warmed it remained comfortable inside. There were lots of lovely personal touches around the home, including fresh flowers, chocolates and wine.😀 our beds were comfortable and everything was clean and in good condition. I would love to return one day, such a pretty area. It was lovely to meet our host Adele.

The Manse is an amazing property. Built in 1861 it has so much history and authentic features. Decorated beautifully to match the era. Lots of interesting little artistic treasures to discover around the house and garden. The gardens are lush and peaceful and abounding with bird and wildlife. Lots of interesting nooks and crannies to read a book or sip a glass of wine with friends and family.

This was a fantastic house for our group of six to celebrate Christmas in winter. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen and dining area well equipped for our special dinner and the atmosphere cosy with wood fires. We enjoyed visiting the farmer's market in Lancefield on Saturday morning and walks at Woodend and Macedon. A great choice not far from Melbourne. Thanks Adele.
